New Playerworld

Needs name, great levels and NPCs, but lacks a name, please help.

grim_squeaker_x 07-05-2001 11:16 PM

How about calling your playerworld:
"A Graal Online Playerworld"
It's really original and completely right.

Kaimetsu 07-05-2001 11:20 PM

Or "AGOP" for short!

But I can see why they'd need help naming it. "gokuandgohan"? Oh dear...

gokuandgohan 07-05-2001 11:38 PM

gokuandgohan 07-05-2001 11:51 PM

Um

I have no idea, just bored and tryin to do something, hehehe, I also noticed my mistake, and decided to fix it or somethin, maybe I'm just tired.

grim_squeaker_x 07-05-2001 11:52 PM

There is no good of amount of levels for a playerworld; although not too many is often best as then there is often higher quality in the levels, but basically I think when making a playerworld it's important to have quality over quantity, yes you can be proud of having >2000 levels on your server, or that it takes an hour real time to walk from one end to another, but if there is nothing to do in that then your server isn't good, if you however have around 200 levels but they're all good and have something fun to do in them it's a much better server.

Kaimetsu 07-05-2001 11:52 PM

Oh. In the future, please try to think why you are writing words before you write them.

gokuandgohan 07-05-2001 11:59 PM

ok, but what if......

What if i made >2000 levels that were all detailed and great, would people still like it? I could also add warp pads so that people didn't have to walk from city to city.

Lots of levels only works if you have lots of players. People want to meet other people when they're travelling rather than going for a solo trek. So initally I'd say keep it quite small.

gokuandgohan 07-06-2001 12:05 AM

Very good idea

Then small it is....

Btw, Kaimetsu would you like to be NAT Captain for it?

G_yoshi 07-06-2001 12:06 AM

It should be more about quality than quantity. But it seems that people feel special to have over 200 levels. The real question is, are they of good or high quality? As for my server, I hope to make it a HIGH quality....i do not and will not settle for average.

*adds another tally to his chart*

No thank you.

gokuandgohan 07-06-2001 12:09 AM

Of course they are good quality

I always give levels all I've got to make sure they are the best I can make them, this is what makes them so good.
