I figured its about time to let Graal Players to see the development of Shangri-La.

Shangri-La was co-founded by Madrox and the great Shawn64 who past away in late january,(RIP) Shawn, you will be missed by us on Shangri and all of graal.

Now development on Shangri-La has been moveing rapidly and well progressed.Here I will attach tons of pictures that will show you the outcome of this paradise playerworld known as Shangri-La!

The first part of shangri, I would like to introduce you to is a world known as Skyworld.This Huge ship searched the galaxy for refugee after there planet was destroyed.They settled over a world called Shangri-La and the evil followed them here.You join forces with the skyworld people in a desperate attempt to save both worlds.

I love how I'm not even mentioned under management....
Anyways keep up the great work MD. I'm glad to see all the work me and Shawn did isn't going to waste. (And I don't mean me and Shawn were the only people that worked on Shangri-La or that I did as much as Shawn did.)

Shangri-La has already been hosted. It was taken off the hosted tab at Shawn's request, because we could never get any work done. At one time, we had like 40 people online.

Skrobo you will always be a manager above me in my eyes.But I wasnt sure you wanted me to mention due to the fact that you and madrox are mad at each other.Soon as you resolve your issue,I will be more then happy to modify my post.Shangri is part lost without you.

Anyways we appreciate most feed back, but does anyone have any ideas suggestions they would like to see on Shangri before we ask to go hosted?

Me and Val aren't mad at each other. She just figured I didn't want to work on Shangri-La and cared about UN more, so she fired me. She gave me my rc back last night. Which reminds me, the forum logo is in temp.

Regarding suggestions, I say finish the movement system and fix a few more things script-wise and go for it.

I'am sorry I tried to make you be able to see it bigger without out useing attachments,But that didn't work to well.Since graal forums are very active and uberly laggy I posted them on a less active forums.->Snapshots Here Aswell <-

Without MD, Shangri-La would be dead right now. I'm very grateful for all the hard work he's been putting into it.

Because, apparently I did absolutely nothing at all.

Wow I guess it's my turn to take over Shangri-La since Mystical and all the other staff are (!= Active) though I need to gather a load of staff to get things running again and as for new graphics if needed I don't know what i'm gonna do about that ... who on graal could be as original as shawns graphics where. Anyway i'm gonna be fixing up all the broken scripts on here, and improving ones that are not.

Shangri-La won't survive.

I have to agree with Malinko. First off how are you going to match new content with Shawn's very unique graphic style? I don't see it happening, and I can't see you ever finishing a project MD.

lol people on graal? Imaginations such as shawns? LOL O GOD YEA RIGHT. I consider 98% of the graal poplulation pretty stupid when it comes to their imagination/creativity. And finding at developer that has any other than what he sees on google images and snes based rpgs is close to impossible. Good Luck bud, Im not gonna talk to you down because if you truly want to be successful you can do it.

Most graal players are quite creative, but not everyone has a lot of experience yet.

Shawn brought an incredible amount of originality to Graal with Shangri-La. The tileset of both the sea level and the sky world are both unique and never before seen (at least by me). The sheer idea of the skyworld that he had said on RC was incredible, and he could have made it work.

I had never seen a talent such as Shawn Noel, and finding another person with that level of talent, ability and skill on Graal is pretty much impossible.

His graphics were full of originality, his scripting was outstanding too, and his ability to level (with his tilesets) were least to say outstanding. With him gone, I don't think MD will be able to bring Shangri-La through - he's a good scripter, yes. But like I said earlier, finding someone with Shawn's ability to help with it is near impossible.
