Concept ideas for Mac RC
5 Attachment(s)
So the Mac RC is in a terrible state at the moment. But I was thinking, it would be quite upsetting if the Mac RC had a GTK interface which wouldn't look or work as well on a Mac. The only exception might be the syntax highlighting, in which gtklibsourceview or so might still be necessary. Anyway, I was playing with the Interface Editor as part of Xcode and came up with some developmental ideas for a Mac RC interface.
I've got the resource files saved if they can be made use of. Note for the second screenshot: The items listed there are just example items from the Interface Builder! Note for the third screenshot: Clicking the buttons would create a drop-down menu if necessary, to reduce clutter. |

Also due to attachment limit for posts, a couple more pictures.
Note for file manager: Each time you move into a new folder, the next pane to the right contains the new folder contents. If you've used the listed view on Finder etc, then you'll know what I mean. Added a Finder picture to demonstrate my file manager idea to those not very familiar with it. |
Very cool. I especially like how the main window is set up and the file manager. :)

What happens if folders on the FTP are nested more than 3 folders in?
