Hmm, I know what Lance is capable of so I decided to take a closer look. Doesn't look like a simple resize to me, better yet it looks pixeled. See for yourself-

Some where colored in PSP, the skater and the earphones where 100% MS paint. To better prove that its not a resize, I did alot of him at different times.. look how much different the shading on his body parts are.. the arms i did first, the right leg and board i did last

I used to have that one big image with all your best gfx that you posted that one time, although its obvious that almost none of it was done 100% mspaint, uncluding the headphone and the skater. I respect you as one of the greats though, I know your talent ;D Too bad I havent seen you work on any servers but Ol' West and maybe one or two more.

Before you say its a resize, copy the image and take it into paint and look at it. If it was a resize, the pixels would be very much overlapped and not look the way they do. I believe that image is 100% pixel work.

I like it.

It doesn't look pixeled from afar, but when you zoom in you can easily see the pixel by pixel coloring.

Thanks for people who believe me, as for Skrobo, I started makin a new tileset for Ol' west.. i just dont have the motavation to set down and waste my life away anymore..., ive worked on many of the greatest modern servers that have been out there.. infortunately nobody wants to see change in graal, so i quit.

If it wasnt summer id start back up Icarus...

Really though, telling me that it looks like a chunk on a skateboard tells me nothing about what I need to do to improve, so sthu. You havnt posted a single thing in this thread about what i need to do to improve.

You only look at the bad things in peoples art, so i could care less how much you have wasted your life judging artwork. I don't frequently consume myself with how others percieve me, especially when their opinions are so... radical from the norm - what I mean to say is that people chose to percieve specific situations in their own way... some more radically than others.

It appears your entire argument is based upon a misinterpretation of something Draenin said. He said it resembled Chunk. With a capital C. You misinterpreted this statement as him saying it sucked. Now that you know that he didn't say it sucked, you can no longer accuse him of saying it.

How very insulting. Not once did I say it sucked, I simply said (twice) that I believed it was resized.

This demands another reference to my statement of how we prefer to percieve things in our own way, sometimes radically different than the intended idea.

Now back on subject, I cant see the original image that you posted Lance. If you would repost that it would be nice. But from the resized image it doesnt look stolen considering (and Im guessing) That background would have different colors in it as well if you resized it.

There are many ways to tell that isn't a resized photo. One would be the sky as Infernix said. Another would be the lines. Look at the rail, and you can tell very easy that it was pixeled. Same on the skateboard.

yeah... Skrobo's a smart one, seeing as how i get lazy when im close to finishing art... drawing, painting, or pixel.. SO the board and the rail are the very last things i did, thats why they arent as good.

OR NOW you could try to argue that he was really a guy jumping offa a moving vehical and i just resized him and stuck a skateboard and rail under him.. i wouldnt expect nothing less from you Draenin. Which i was being sarcastic, i didnt resize anything.
