Computer Freezing
 

I'm having troubles with my computer with logging on to Maloria for about 10 mins or so... Then my computer freezes up for no reason, and I have to reset it or sometimes it just reboots it self.. This is really weird o_o; it only happends to me when im only on Maloria. I already deleted all my graal stuff and downloaded it again and I don't know what to do.. My Driver is a
"ALL -IN- WONDER RADEON 8500DV" if that helps at all =o Please help me fix this problem.. x_x

You can post the console log?

Does it only happen on special places, or does it play some special sound / music on Maloria ?

Ah yes, there's one area on Maloria where there is music which i added quite a good few months ago, the script must have been tampered with making it break, It was a sort of duke box.

Ill have one of the staff remove it, your not the only one with the problem. So dont worry ^_^

Uh. I'm actually getting the same probel, only with GK as well. It only seems to lock up when I go fullscreen. I can try to look something up in the console log, but I doubt anything will be there, as it's my whole system locking up. Not the program only.

If you restart the computer, the old console log should still be there providing that you do not reopen Graal.

Got it. Okay, I just went onto Maloria after spending a short amount of time on Kingdoms, and here's what I got in the log.

Finally, somone else has the problem I thought it was just my crappy comp. Yeah, my computer crashes often from Maloria, it's really bad too

Is the problem still occuring? A console log will be helpful.

If possible, attempt to install the ATI graphic drivers from the ATI website. Skyld has mentioned there is some sort installer there that works for all ATI's graphic cards, as in, drivers downloads. It requires .NET software, which can be found there as well.

I updated my graphic card and this problem is gone for me :o.

I'll get the newest ATi drivers in just a second.

uhmm I'm not sure it just happends in special places, only in mainhouse.nw and mal-h06.nw when I stand in the level for like 5 to 10 mins it locks up for no reason -.-;;

Pick whichever model of the graphics card owned and just download. I recommend Catalyst 6.4 Windows XP - Driver Download.

We're not incompetent. I already downloaded and fully installed the drivers, including the .NET update, all critical updates for Windows, etc, and the problem still persisted.

Draenin did you try to set a different fullscreen mode (e.g. 640x480x60) ?

Well, I got my problem fixed and can go fullscreen now. (I reinstalled some of the updates.) However, now I'm having a similar problem with RC. Whenever I log in with my name on the graphical interface, the contents of the window just remain completely white.

i freeze on v4 with music
