Isometric Graal
Me and Raelyn have been working on a isometric Graal, and this is what we have so far. Nothing special yet, and the graphics are temporary ones used for testing. I know that its a pixel or 2 wrong, but the new tiles will fix that.
The dark *spot* is the player (no graphic), and you can move in four directions (probably will be increased to 8). It will come in a nice online editor to help staff to develop a world. Anyways, hereŽs version 0.24: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...l/ada234ee.png http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...l/a782d966.png |
woah nice

I don't like the angle of it.
|
That would be very annoying to play.
Also, anyone can draw things on a screen. Any playable demos (online or otherwise)? |

I am going to be producing a full set of tiles over the next week or so though. |
The view is a little too overhead. The camera angle pitch should be down a little.
|
A very nice and unique idea.

I could see this as being useful if you're still planning on doing your RTS thing, Raelyn.
|
I could set up a working demo level online, IŽll post when im done.
|
That's pretty cool, Ziro.

Neat. But that's not isometric.
Isometric = 30degree angles. |

Might be useful regarding the 30 degree angle. http://www.19.5degs.com/element/832.php (isometric tutorial)
Also, I think that ZAngbandTK's tiles can be used legally but I'm not sure of it. |
Wow, that's really good.
