Shovels.
 

Ok now I understand you have to keep it "balanced" but can you make the life of the shovels longer than a dam hour? They break way to quick.

It's a constant '500' digs = break. I didn't add any timevar or a random as it wouldn't be fair. Who new that digging would be so popular o-o

I think they should be around 750 - 1000

Digging is a very good source of money since the prices of the shells were fixed to a decent ammount of $ but the shovels do break too easily, should be able to use them abit longer before they break imho.

I could make them last longer, if you pay for it or so :)

Holy crap I've got an idea (It's from animal crossing though)! You could do a quest and have to bring like an amount of each shell and like an amount of money and you'll get a golden shovel that never breaks or has like 10,000 digs to break (I prefer never breaking).

I think 50 dollars is expensive enouph for a shovel.

Added shovel repair, drag/drop on the shell seller. 10$

Plainly stupid, but how do we know if they're breaking or not? You need to replace the destroying of the shovels with another item, say a Broken Shovel which you drag on to Toad to repair, not have them disappear completely.

Alot of people dont read these forums, so they'd never know.

Yeh you should put a staff message in the seashell shack to notify other people. Also I saw the breaking message with my new shovel, I guess I just missed it or something the first time..
