just wonderin, whenever i think of something that "COULD" be put in zone, not necessarily saying it should be in zone, i post it

why? cause some1 else might find an idea off of mine


i was just wonderin, anyway to show like explosions happening on radar?

might be a lot at time showns but idk i think itd just be nice since the explosions irl by.....bombs can be heard for miles away....so sight could be used here :O

if not, maybe some kinda infrared thing...idk

seems kinda pointless, hopin someone gets an idea off it :O, id laugh my ass off if i saw red/green dots dissappearin under like orange flashes

and i still think the pm indicator should be put in >_<

Seems like an interesting idea. Perhaps Stefan and/or Vulcan will be able to answer the possible chance of this. I like the idea, if I see an explosion on the map, I want to get into all the action.

How often does somebody use an explosive when fighting? Maybe a 1/5 chance. You don't need to see explosions, just look for the red dots. And unless the map is at night why would you need infared(or however it's spelt)?

actually i see explosions all the time

from mortars, to proxis, to bike mines, to just barrels, not to mention bombs

explosions happen a LOT more then u think

It's spelled "Infrared"; One of my friends said it like "Infraird", so the spelling stuck :P

But yeah, the idea is okay, and there should be day/night effects on Zone, maybe on Iricia?

Easier way to tell where an explosion is coming from. Look at two dots on radar. 1 red, 1 green. Hear an explosion, one of the dots dissappears.

rawr, but thats not always good and sometimes i dont even hear explosions -_- the only explosions really "hearable" are mortars, not barrels or mines :O

Now I see a good side and a bad side

bad side, it might make it laggy for people, especially those who lag with 1 flame thrower lol and I know yall are out there =P Plus what if its an Allied exposion? wouldnt that make it kinda useless...

good side, if someone is say, morter laming*cough* then you would know the exposions are ther before you go charging head on into them. and of course if ther are a bunch of piping ____'s then you'd know to chain gun them as hard as ya can =P either way chain gun can take care of most explosive weaps in a sec but thats another story to be told by pip =P

over all, I like the idea lol

hmm maybe make the colors of the explosions team coordinated?

like blue on radar if ur on storm, yellow if your on sweep :O

green, orange, white, etc for the other teams (koth)

idk at first i mainly focus on iricia but idk, anyone have any suggestions for the Allied explosion thing?

or could just make Allied explosions disabled on radar

well u may wanna know if ther is an allied exposion too, I reccomend Blue(for whatever team your on) as allied exposion and Orange for Enemy =)

Day/Night feature has been suggested by Raeiphon. I think its an awesome idea, but you all just ignored him and then forgot about it and suggested it a few months later.

I don't ignore Raeiphon's ideas. You should know that. It was probably during the hurricane aftermath, so how should I know? :\

But on another note, Did you notice that someone suggested (albeit a long time ago) a dart gun, and now we have one? And a grenade launcher, and now we have one? And more events, and now we have them? I think most of you, including myself to some extent, need to stop bashing on the shortcomings of this server and look at what's been done :o

ya...i actually listen to people and there ideas...i made that dart gun like 5 months ago...and i tried once on a grenade launcher and failed horribly, maybe 9 months ago...so i tryed again and did a pretty good job...
