Someone named "Tyhm" from Graal IMed me...

So someone who called theirself Tyhm IMed me and asked me for my account so he can be a global. Now, I'm not stupid and I'm not going to give my account away, therefore I said no. But besides the fact, I don't think that this was the Tyhm that most of us know from back in the day. Why would he be asking random people for their accounts? If anyone else has been asked by this fellow who says he's "Tyhm from graal" I'd suggest not giving him your account. ;)

P.S.: If anybody wants to know what his AIM screenname was, give me a pm and we can compare what happened.

It might be evil Tyhm.

Use the Shawinnigan Handshake.

He cant do anything with simply your account name, why would you not tell someone your account name on graal?

That's a handy way to get Tyhm's AIM if you want it but don't have it. I know Tyhm gets major ... frustrated ... if you don't keep his SN private.

He said the person tried to get his account, not his account name.

Hah, it's funny how idiots, like this guy, are still around today. It's even funnier when idiots, more or less equal in IQ to the example in hand, fall for the trick.

Googi 04-09-2006 08:15 PM

Good question, I have no idea. I saved the conversation though, hopefully people don't fall for it anymore.

Because no one else is gonna expect someone trying to scam people is gonna impersonate Thym?

If you're gonna impersonate someone, you might as well impersonate someone that no one expects you to impersonate.
