New Rules, Forum admin and more...
 

I have personally checked and updated all forums rules and I am asking all moderators to enforce them so don’t blame moderators to do what they have to.

Monnie is now forum administrator, it means she is now is in charge of managing moderators/super moderators and choosing with me new moderators.

I can understand that some of you want more freedom so I have decided to reorganize the non Graal related forum and create a new private and optional forum, to write on the private section you will have to agree that you are above 14 and agree that you can read some more rude messages than on other graal forums.

I will also soon update the forum software and test some new plugins, if you known strong vbulletin feature you would like to see contact me by PM.

Does Graal-only links apply to the Non-Graal related forum too?

Part of the fun is linking to articles that we find particularly funny.

Also signature images are technically links too, so we need to upload all our signatures to the Graal wiki to be able to link to them.

No, it is all okay now. I just took it down once I saw the rules and then uploaded it to the wiki, so it is a link to a Graalonline site.

For the external links outside of GraalOnline content, I think unixmad means it has to fit the Rules of Conduct and User Agreement, which can be found at the following link: http://www.graalonline.com/docs/conduct.php.

I also think with the rule, he means that there shouldn't be other advertisements of other MMORPG. Though, I think talking about a new XBOX 360 game is alright, even though all should be on GraalOnline. ;);)

Were people posting pornographic links prior to these rules being out? O.o

Although, upon talking to him, he states that he sees no reason for external links at all, that image links can be okay but not html (or similar) links.

Eitherway, I expressed my concern that the rule is pretty much null, when other rules can be used to enforce the links it's trying to prevent.

Gah, they aren't "rude" forums.
Believe it or not, there are actually members who are able to hold an intelligent discussion without being rude.
The new NGRT should make alot of members happy, though. The rules are supposedly going to be more relaxed for those who want to have discussions.
Unixmad just doesn't want it on the main forums, and I believe the new NGRT will have a seperate sign up (private forums).
Members who are not able to post maturely, or cannot handle the discussions in an appropriate manner, will be removed (if I understood Unix correctly).

I think what Unixmad meant by "rude" is that the NGRT will be more relaxed, and things allowed there in discussions that he does not want on the main forums. So, if people cannot handle it, they should not sign up for it.

I though of something funny....but I don't want a ban ;)
Anyway, when's the release date of these relaxed forums?
And more importantly, how much more relaxed will they be?
Will certain rules disolve, or just not be enforced as much?

I think the new NGRT will have seperate rules. Whatever rules it does have will be strictly enforced as usual. I'm not exactly sure on this. All Unix said was that the rules would be more relaxed.
