Transfering Leadership

Lost Souls is having a slight problem... The leader has 32 hours left on his account and he cannot seem to transfer leadership to me... I don't have another guild either. I'm a VIP/Gold aswell. Anyone have any ideas of why? Also if anyone can fix this (staff of course) please do so...

eh he can stay leader if he doesnt have vip

But, according to others (staff), he can't make any changes in the guild... And its never good when your guild leader quits never to return.
