Official Graal Corruption Thread
 

Only certain things in graal are corrupt.

Not going to name names, but certain people in graal get what they want and are treated much differently.

I heard a high admin tell me once (Edited to protect innocent):

"XXXXXXXX is different than other PW Owners, its fine if he has 2, I doubt stefan would give you two though, your not like XXXXXXXX"

That my friend is corrupt, the fact that that person would be allowed to have another pw and I wouldnt be allowed to is not fair.

Of course I cant say its 100% true because Stefan himself didnt tell me, but I bet 20 gralat it is.

Also, a certain someone, who also is a PW Owner, gets credit for many of my ideas.

Eg: I suggested 5 ideas to stefan in a PM for new script commands, they appeared in the new version, and I told someone I came up with it and they told me "No XXXXXXXX did"

I was angry at that, cuz I also bet 20 gralat that I was heard, and just ignored and that PW owner heard me because he is "better" than I am at scripting, or at least in the GAT (Graal Administration Team's) eyes.

I admit I am not the best scripter, but when I do do something good, darnit I want ot get credit for it, not some 2 bit Admin who steals my ideas. Im sure he didnt know he did, but he did.

And even when you think its over, there is more.

The larges issue of corruptness is P2P.

For the most part, if your not p2p, you dont get half the assistance you need. If there is a problem on your server, you dont get the help you need in a legitimate ammount of time. But if you're p2p, things seem to go magicly faster. I wish somehow this could be explained to me...

And even more, Stefan baisicly adds 95% new scripting commands that only p2p servers can use, this also goes back to that anonymous pw owner that so graciously gives ideas to stefan, (im guessing) only suggests p2p commands, since he himself has a p2p server. So unless some of us Free server owners take action (no dont revolt, just think of decent new commands, and lets see how many of them are added, and if not, what rediculous excuse is made. Or better yet, if we (we=the free pw owners) suggest things and Mr. Anonymous gets credit (as usual). Since we free server owners are not capable of making decent commands for Graal, only Admin's like Mr.Anonymous are capable of doing it.

Well lets just hope everyone doesnt take this the wrong way.
hehe maybe no one will care, but at least I got it off my mind.

Didn't someone just make a thread about how tired they were of hearing people complaining about corruption?

P2P PW = Money needed to play
Free PW = No money needed to play
Why help out servers that aren't making you any money?

I agree 100% with War. He has a point. Another person I know (XXXXXXXXX) created hunting with spears and told another X guy. He sent it in to Stefan (fully scripted and it kicks arse) and the person he gave it to got credit -_- This happened to me also and it's just not right. The p2p I also agree with. Think about it. There are a helluva lotta people who have all of Graal2001 scripts (including myself) and we can "dumb them down" (I'll say) to work on free servers. I see fantastic NPCs on p2p servers. Great ganis. It just makes me mad, Stefan, you don't care as much as the game you used to. Now it's just money :-(

I suppose you could say that. I go and buy Diablo/II and I can play any server for free on the main Battle.net server. I can play for free on PSO server. Hell I can play for free on every server I know of, EXCEPT FOR SOME GRAAL SERVERS

They probably have free servers because you have to pay to get diablo 2.

That is true, I can pay $40 for Diablo II, a 3D game, and play it for free forever, and i can play the "good" world. Unlike on graal, where if you want to play on g2k1, the "good" world, you would have to pay $25 for a year. (Or become a p2p server owner).

And graal isnt much about the fun anymore, its about who is more powerful and if the owners make the most money.

You know, all this complaining, and arguing isn't going to do ****? Stefan is too busy to look into any kind of corruption. So waste of bandwith = Corruption topics.

I see nothing wrong in paying for Graal. It obviously costs money to run the servers so it only makes perfect sense. Working hard and not getting some kind of monetary return sucks even though the gratitude of others helps :)
