Houses...Why wait?

Why must we wait on a king to enable the ground for a house to be approved, when in fact, the kings are never on and it seems impossible to find one with the authorized ability to do so.

My suggestion is that we shouldnt have to wait around for a king, but rather, Just be able to lay the flag and start building or something or another...

We cant really have to many people of certain rank under the king being able to do this, as that would undermine the already screwed up kingdoms.

How about I build 30 houses around Dustaris castle and block it?

I mean do you actually think before posting? Its not hard, might want to try it sometime.

God.

People would place houses everywhere or at least on places they shouldn't do. They can be moved afterwards but its still some work. Also the need for someone authorized for approving the house is making the kingdom rank hierarchy more interesting.

Well for one, why not limit the houses a player can have? To balance this, create a 'destroy house' option for the player.

As to your reply Stefan, I understand your point, and i realize this is a somewhat crucial balance to the game. Maybe it's just possible im being rather impatient tonight? ;)

I believe that's the problem. It all really depends on the kingdom you're in - they have different rules regarding houses.

When I was in Zormite they forced you to have all of the supplies ready before they would approve your house. This way they avoided "dead" houses - Houses which get started but never finished...

A little patience goes a long way.....

It also prevents stolen houses.

Then I promise not to gripe without first checking my sources more carefully ;)

Hey you know if you want, Forest would love to have a few player shops. And if you want you can always ask to have a house too if you got a shop.

We have a bit of extra room still on our isle.

AlaricoMontario 03-23-2006 04:20 AM

Yes, we have need and want for playershops - Heck, Im even providing the 100p flag, and all the tree seeds you need.

To that, there is ALWAYS ATLEAST 1 person from Forest who has H rights.

Who has it on Forest:
Draxx, Dayaa, Vana, Mydia, William, Valanduil, Cid, John, Morgan,

Atleast one of th eabove is ALWAYS on, and usually Dayaa, Morgan, Mydia and I are on at the same time, and I don't mind the trip back to Forest if it means we get one more active person to our Kingdoms lands, atleast.

CidNight1142 03-23-2006 04:40 AM

Not me Cid, the forest Cid. The lesser one.
