Params and Setbackto
Not sure if this should go in the ganis forum or here. Considering I saw the problem pertain to both, I am putting it here considering this section gets more trafic.
It's simple enough. When using setbackto, params do not transfer with the gani change. Where this happens: I'm assuming everywhere, since the two places I have tested this on (Zenkou and Icarus) have had this problem. Edit: I should also note this. On Zenkou, I set the gani "zen_hunter_jumpthrust1.gani" with the param "zen_weapon_hunter_empras.png". It shows the param, but as it sets back to "zen_hunter_ready.gani" the param disappears. On Icarus, this problem does not happen for your client, but can be seen happening to others. When punching, all of your clothes seem to disappear. |
I think you can pass params via setbackto, better use gani attributes for that (#P or attr[])

Here's a little image support.
Screenshots from Icarus: This is a screenshot of the punch gani. http://img149.imageshack.us/img149/7...22842022ir.png Here is a screenshot of what happens when the punch gani ends, and sets back to ci_body-idle.gani (setbackto ci_body-idle). http://img382.imageshack.us/img382/5...22842796wp.png Of course, this happens only when the punch gani ends, and you do not move. If you move, it sets to ci_body-walk.gani and all the params will reappear. |
Like I said it's better to use attr[]/#P, that will mean less lag too since it doesn't need to send the gani parameters each time the animation is changed.
