The Hosted Tab
 

Hi.

So there are four worlds on the Hosted tab.

Aeon
Endora
Zenkou
Zodiac

Exodus is included in the bunch as well, from what I know, though since it's not visible, I won't add it to the list, YET.

ANYWAYS, so what worlds should be on the Hosted tab? I just want opinions, just don't name the world that you bought, but seriously, mention a world you think should be on the Hosted tab, which has potential. Also, mention if you think it's Classic worthy! ;);)

I think Zenkou is over worthy on Hosted, and defernately worthy of Classic tab when it is completed, there is ALOT of potential on Zenkou and it's undergoing good work.

Endora, that has just gotten to the Hosted tab, as the owners are friends, i wont be harsh, but the server does'nt offer much as of yet, but i see potential as they are making rapid progress.

Id like to see babylon and Eden on their, main reason i want to see Eden there, is so more players see it, and when servers are on hosted, they gain more attention, therefor giving Eden a nice flow of players and hopefully new staff to develop such a nice server.

Out of interest, what is the perpose of the "Hosted" tab? Just for good server in development?



I dont know much about the other 2 playerworlds, but i do know that majority of their playercounts are staff.

I believe a regretable suggestion of mine, although I guess it has its uses.

Maybe a better option for Hosted would be to pick a few servers in Developement that look promising, and put them on the Hosted tab for a period of time (maybe a couple of months) so it can be played, and reviewed for staff purposes and such, then after that time is up, pick another set....and if a PW becomes good enough in that amount of time to be moved up to the Classic tab, then it can be done?

I believe the whole purpose of the hosted tab was so that pw's that held promise could be viewed, but I don't think pw's that hold promise are being put there because of strict guidelines or something.
Maybe the guidelines need to become less-strict on hosted to let pw's have a chance to be viewed for a period of time.
There are quite a few pw's out there that hold promise...

I just think there should be more pw's on the hosted tab then are currently there.

I dont think the hosted tab should be the footstep to the classic tab, that is also what is holding a lot of servers back. As most players dont even have an Active Gold/VIP Account, getting your server on the hosted tab shoud not be something you aspire to do.

Your server is quite visible no matter if its on hosted or if its hidden, the only diffrence is if its on the hosted, people see it faster, dosent mean they will log on any more then before though.

I'd say Anzell but don't think so anymore.

You don't have to go to Hosted before Classic, I assume.

Yeah, I have no plans on releasing Mana Realms as hosted.

I wont release it to the public til its done, and ready for Classic. I will be hefty pissed if they say I have to go to hosted for a while before I go to classic.

Some posts don't give postcount++, in the NGRT I think.

Zodiac is a cool server..


Zodiac should go classic!

Babylon should go hosted. It's under heavy development but the old overworld is even Classic worthy.

Dark Rival for hosted, actually, we're being inspected right Malinko? (He's one of the first PWAs on the scene, and the most active on DR, not that I'm saying anything for the others) ;), although I don't think we're classic ready yet. (Although some of our players/staff say we are, but I want to add some stuff first ;) )
