Halberdier weapons?

I thought it would be cool to add weapons for warriors and barbs that is more like a halberd then the naginata. I designed a weapon with this in mind and was hoping someone would take it into concideration.

The Naginata template is a little tough to work with so I had to make this one seperate. I was hoping it could be scripted to be held outward towards the right arm when facing down. Here is the Halberd I designed but I will post more on what I mean with another screenshot a little later.

Hmmm Eventually the trident and spear should be remade too, to be more long-range melee weapons instead throwing them ?

Yea. Leave the spear as a throwing item and these two could be melee types.

That is actually a cool idea Stefan. And Oasa I really like the shield on the back. That is a totally awesome idea too. I often find that the resources for spears (not being many or too difficult) is still tedious for a weapon that does only ten damage one time ever. I suppose the spear is meant to be more of a spar/deathmatch weapon intended to be spent quickly.

Just as a side note, I always thought the broadswords should be two handed, maybe carried backwards and swung forwards. I am not too familiar with how too many scripts effect gameplay though, or if too many gani's in one server may effect the gameplay.

But yeah that would be cool to have Longer ranged weapons without them being thrown. Not that I want the javelins removed though! More damage but maybe tons of weight to discourage too much preparing. Maybe that way more players would utilize the Lower Weapon Weight scrolls or something.

In immense maps im a huge wuss and run when I see an enemy starting to cast and I am not close enough to hit them. So I just throw spears or use a bow to knock em off track while I run up to them.

One more thing, Shouldn't the pole axe actually be a pole axe? (/tease)
