Unfortunately...
I've recently been accepted to a second University degree (B.Ed.)
Which means I'm now 1) Broke 2) EXTREMELY BUSY Which means I will almost never be on. Not wanting Zormite to become an inactive crap hole because it's leader is never on, I'm relinquishing my leadership. It's been fun. When I find out who I'm giving it to, (s)he will post here. Of course, I can guarantee you'll probably all flame me for my choice, you seem to do it for everything else ;) Anyway, once more HEIL THE REPUBLIC! |
It will be sad to see you go, Matthew :frown: I will definitely miss our poker games where you steal my items! :p

'Gratz on the Degree, Matt!

I have taken leadership of Zormite. Its been a goal of mine since I first started Graal Kingdoms back in 03. Back then Zen Archigos was leader, and we had a great time. I hope to make a kingdom that is as fun as old zormite, and has the same sorts of great leadership zormite once had. I've been leader of samurai, helped run cp when markb was governor, and was Strategus of Zormite during Zen's leadership.
You can expect to see many changes in Zormite very soon. I just need to get things sorted out with king rank, debug, and forum rights. Hopefully this can all be done over the weekend to ensure a smooth transition to the new government. We are currently at war with Samurai. I have no intention on changing the war we are in. I am not sure on how our campaigns were going, but for now I shall scale back alot of the offensive goals until we are better organized for some large scale shock and awe campaigns. My goals are fairly simple: To rebuild Zormite, and allowing the last word in it's name 'Republic' to be realized fully. To build an at-home economy and culture instead of the lack of any culture or roleplaying environments at all. And to allow the players to make many decisions in how their government should proceed politically, diplomatically, and militarily. Matthew congradulations on your degree. I wish for you the best. And look foreward to seeing you on the game whenever you do have time to visit. And thank you for giving me the opportunity to finally do what I've always wanted to do - help my homeland. :D |
Congrats to Bosh and Matt :)
|
I will still be around quite a bit, I have a laptop etc. But It would be stupid of me to stay leader because I'd have no time to organize events etc.
I will still be around to play poker okie ;) |
Good luck, Bosh [:
|
Congrats matthew! Welcome to the wonderful world of extremely challenging college! Try not to slack off too much, sometimes it gets in the way of the point college...which is drinking.
Good luck Bosh, I'm sure Zormite will be in good hands. |
Already well acquainted with the drinking, remember, this is my second degree ;) I barely have a liver left. Speaking of which, DRINKING MISSION TONIGHT!
|
This just shows... How many people play this game sober? I wouldnt have fun playing it sober honestly.

Further, I've read the rules, they say no discussing illegal activities, as far as I know, intoxication is not illegal, for me. Not even the slightest bit. No talking about drugs, sure, because they're illegal, alcohol is good and legal ;)

Keep in mind, that most Graalians are not even old enough to drink, and is illegal to do so. |

So we are allowed to talk about alcohol in little ammounts? |

Perhaps in the future I'll just issue out warnings, and delete the posts, if that's more agreeable :) |
Bosh, I dont htink your allowed to change your name or else youll have to give up your position because youll have to be a royal family.

Explain? I dont understand what you are trying to say here. We arent a monarchy we are a republic and if the leader(president or whatever) appoints a successor (vice president in terms of american government style) then when the leader steps down that replacement takes power. In a republic one family does not rule with divine right. The only thing we still lack is an electorial process which I plan on making soon. |

Just because wierd princes and so on dont want to loose rppower bosh doesnt have to take the royal name. |

I'm still waiting to hear some of Bosh's ideas for the kingdom. What are your policies going to be?
|
Did Bosh really buy it for USD?

Plans I have for zormite, I'll make them very basic for now.
Redoing ranks so the kingdom looks more like a republic, also hoping to hold elections to elect a Senate which is the representative body of the government. Castle is being rebuilt to be easier to find places and also adding in a senate area to replace the throne room, we will not have a throne room anymore. Island itself being redone and cities are to be built up with regards to their specific purpose. Kalimn will be a merchant area for example so there will be shop buildings mostly allowed to be built there. Also plan to add a new city. Theres alot of things in the works, but it will all take time. Hopefully once I'm not sick I can redo the ranks and someone is working on the inside castle levels. I think almost every time a kingdom changes hands theres rumors about someone selling the thing. Especially zormite from what I remember. I dont recall any kingdoms actually being sold or bought or anything. I proved myself as Strategus, I've always been loyal to zormite. |

graal players told me that the government can use your monitor for mind control. Absolutely 100% true story.

Bosh has amazing plans (he's told me them), however you'll find them hard to do.
Forest has been in need of a level designer for along time, they've not found anyone. It'll be hard for you, but goodluck. Congradulations too. |
