Is it possible

Is it possible, being an in-dev server, to let people with classic accounts or whatever not be ghosts? I have some good LAT's wanting to work, yet either their VIP ran out, or they can't get a VIP. Or would it be possible to ever get Server-based VIP accounts, like, their VIP accounts you can only use on that specific server.

That defeats the entire purpose of upgrading..

As Kronan has stated, a fraction of graal subscribers are also graal developers. Allowing developers to work on private servers, being the topic, would not be in the best interest of the administrators and, or the owners of graal and it's respected supporters.

If I were to be correct, the last known exception to this economicly enforced rule would be the playerworld Bravo. Ofcourse, this was quite some time ago and
subscriptions for early developers were hardly considered economic variables.

He also asking if there is the possibilty of another upgrade option that allows VIP/Gold access on one UC server.

No, such a thing is not available at this time.

Clearly not available under subscription packages, that is a decision strictly within the will of an administrator. Understanding, ofcourse that the game must be properly configured to allow of such an option.

Babylon is still considered 'classic'

The last few remaining old classic private servers will be switched very soon. Only classic dev servers are allowed to let classic devs on (N-Pulse, Atlantis, Unholy Dev).

I am not 100% sure of the reasoning behind it not being beneficial for graal to allow developers to work on PW's for free

Having more playerworlds of a higher quality would mean more players would be interested in playing.. which means more upgraded accounts.

Because anyone and their mother could claim to be a developer just to gain access to a UC server.

And when the manager or whoever realizes that person sucks they can just remove them

You seem to be missing my point. The managers could add their friends and say they were all developers just so they could gain access to the server.

My mind loses no sleep over saying the "developers" today couldn't make playerworlds that are assets to the game. Taking into consideration the vast majority of "developers" are those who have no experience and wish for power. Those who are actual developers have my respect. We will still come out with more, hopefully better playerworlds, regardless if developers are subscribed, or not.

In actuality, in most instances developers don't even require a subscription, or access to any rc. It simply encourages them to work for longer periods of time and allows them, rights over regular players, or access to their work.

I think it would be helpful if perhaps hosted worlds have the convenience of allowing expired accounts to develop. It could always be capped at a certain number to prevent 'adding friends'.

I lose good staff to account expiration a lot :(. It slows down development.

Maybe not allowing players on player, but letting them on RC. This could help some servers get scripters, and have VIP/Gold people test the scripts. Could be beneficial in allowing levels and stuff to be uploaded also.
