What Program to use?

Are there any freeware programs out there that let me have several layers, allow for transaparancy support and cans ave PNG files? Outside of Photoshop?

Graphics Gale. If that can't save as PNG, save to GIF and use GIF2MNG.

Yeah, graphics gale is good, but i just use MS Paint heh.
