Considering how war now is a big deal, how about actually having a calvary.

Considering if we were to run into battle, all armored up, ect ect, why not have the horses armored up :]

You should be able to craft horse armor for looks, or that could also say add physical resist to yourself or something.

Armor comes in no gradations larger than 'invincible'. They'd have to remove that from riding, first.

If this was implemented, you should also implement attacking from horses ;)

AND that horses can be killed!

People would complain about other people killing their pets :frown:
It would be nice if the horse died when you die riding it, though.

Maybe a warmode for Horses - that would be cool.

But it shouldnt add more AC to a player.

Yeah... it shouldn't add AC. God knows that people have too much already.

It should take away AC, horses are a much larger target and easier to hit :P

Too many people would whine about it and not do it.

But people who really want to be involved in the RP would. Getting a horse isnt that bad, if you're worried about a pet, raise a horse made just for battle. Throw on the armour (just for showww please...or perhaps equipping the armour is what puts the horse in b-mode??) and keep it in waiting for battle.

Yeah, but just think... people would be wanting to do absurd things like Enchanting horse armor to make themselves even stronger on horseback.

People can say whatever they want, but whatever Stefan scripts is what happens. No matter how much Joe Oldbie wants his AC to go from 160 to 180, the scripters can simply say "no". I believe it will still get used, I would use it.

That was the point of the armour putting your horse in B-Mode. Like, having the armour on the horse would do nothing besides allowing attack ganis while on the horse and allowing the horse to take damage.

dont forget using a bow from a horse
or the horses and otherpets sinking boats.. lol
