Kingdom event with Dustari
 

There will be a Pirates-Dustari event this Saturday, at approximately 1:00pm pacific time USA. This event will require good RP skills, player cooperation and travel between the two islands and Main. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 from each kingdom. All Pirates and Dustari members are invited to show up on tag and in b-mode, and enjoy!

What are the details of the event? I'd like to know what I'm getting into before I decide to put my vulnerable self into battle mode.

Battle mode is not central to the strategy theme of the event, so it's not a big deal - just a normal practice for inter-kingdom events.

For this event at least, if you choose to show up in p-mode, no problem you can still participate.

anyone have info on what sort of items will drop if killed in b-mode....so in other words, what we should leave at home if we do come in b-mode.

You don't drop equipped items, but to be sure only take your equipped gear and some plat.

Take quite a bit of plat with you if you can, that way there's some cushion as to how many times you can get killed without dropping anything really valuable. Leave gems too, as they get dropped a lot.

If you carry a speed or missletoe amulet, leave it at home also. You'll a slight chance of dropping that too.

Tainted grace, cowboy hat, dragon amys, speed amy, diamonds, event cubes, event trophys, event coins, gold keys these are all droppable.

It also makes no difference if the items are equipped or not or in sacks (i know someone mentioned different earlier)

What the hell? Tainted Grace drops? Why?! Stuff like that just shouldn't drop...it's just wrong.

Anyhow, I just got back from vacation in Mexico, and just in time for this event, hehe. So, yea, those rumors about me killing or beating up Grimm and being in jail are not true.

How did this event turn out?

I wasn't able to make it, unfortunately, as I got saddled with some work around the house.

Well this event ended up being fun for CP members, but Dustari didn't show :confused: Only Fr0 was on before the event, and then Ed showed up just in time, but was having some kind of computer problems (something about having to reformat a hard drive, ugh). So we improvised, and still had 12 or so CP members crawling all over Dustari as planned to complete the quest type event. Since this is the second time we have tried to have a kingdom event with Dustari, and they didn't show, I think we'll wait until they have one all planned and invite us to participate. ;)

RP Events on Kingdoms are always lame. Some anime *** acts out his favorite scene from Inuyasha and thinks he's a great roleplayer.. um, no. Most of the GK "roleplays" I've seen are just people randomly going /sleep and being like "ooh i died.. help!!". Ew.

That's why I think maybe Kingdoms should start letting in people who actually know something about roleplaying. So Kingdoms can just rp together and you'll know that everyone is experienced.

Tainted grace will only drop if it's under a certain plat value. Plus, if you have one it should be equipped, because it's just so lovely.
