Event Quest?
 

Due to the EXTREMELY hard difficulty of this event, it should be redone so even beginners can do it.

Someone with level 107 mental out of 110, FAILED it 3 times. How is it that the rest of us are supposed to do it?

Gathering the items was thought to be easy, but without staff spawning what you need to make em, difficuty + infinate.

It would be nice for an enjoyable event, unlike the same thing we have seen again, and again, and again. GO GET ITEMZ LWIFOGLL...

I spent a couple hours gathering items then find i get slag when trying to make the recipe, completely ruins the event after all your hard work is just wasted...

There is no doubt that this is the worst quest and christmas/newyears in GK's history. First they allow USDing then they hold an event that hasn't even been finished.

Now Fr0, with a mental level of 107, has failed the alchemy 4 times. Don't tell me this **** isn't bugged.

I am talking to John (Obs311) on the phone right now and we both agree that this is the stupidest event in the history of GK.

What exactly are the prizes anyways?

Heck, I can't even get an evil dievil's hand in order to do the very beginning part.
Unless there's somewhere else that has Evil Dievils that I don't know about, it's hard enough to find an immense map, without the random chance that they actually drop one IF I can kill them.

Look. The event was horrable. Staff, redeeme yourself by opening the Christmas shop.
I Liked those items!

Things I find funny:

- Not being able to get a recipe made at level 107 ment.
- Hearing from Sam that the event prize is not worth the trouble.
- Having to wait an entire week, and having no christmas event just so admins can say, "Hey, Look at what we can do!" and it still being buggy.
- Seeing people blatantly talking about buying and selling items over AIM (And most of us know what that means.) for the quest.
- Seeing recycled enemies from the LAST major holiday. (Pumpkins, etc.)
- New enemies (Rats, how lovely.) that you have to sever the tails of in order to make stuff for the quest.
- Seeing Stefan with the nickname "Watching the Quest," when he's obviously not very enticed to go somewhere like, say, Bomboria, and observe how much people are complaining about this quest.
- Having a singular item (A Wand.) for a reward. It's a STICK!! I'm a full mage, and I wouldn't even equip it. As someone remarked, it looks like a taser. This is not a wand. It's something you stick into meat to see if it's fully cooked.
- Having to spend over 10k on potions and items for the quest, then slagging multiple times.

This event has been absurd, pointless, and stupid. Thank you so much for ruining tradition.

I wouldn't have cared if the event shop had just been reopened with new recolors of Wizard Hats and weapons again. At least that would have been more rewarding.

I made a bunch of diamonds off selling immenses at 2.5 times their normal price. That part was sweet.

The event items are liquid dragon, you all know what spectacular!

Donald should've done them, but I guess you're just too talented if you can learn how to use programs with hue shifting options.

i dont care about the items this has ruined the entire christmas events why couldnt we just torch trees like we did last year

Actually,I like the idea of event items as prizes rather than just stupid recolored swords and such.

Well, I have been doing this quest for 6 hours now, I'm very upset in real life with the results I got. We failed with Fro 2 times, with Grir 1 time, and we spent about 4 hours just trying to get an evil dievil hand. Excuse my language, this is a big load of ****.

This quest was made without the newer players in mind.

Something that could take more then a day to complete!

More like something that will not be completed by a good 60% of Kingdom's populace.

Apperantly graalonline has all the players it needs. Since it certainly did not make an event this year with the idea in mind of giving out prizes to newcomers. How saddening, I help new players out more than the company, and im usually pking them more than helping them :(

They really did ruin christmas. A quest is awesome! Just not for the christmas presents. Seriously, i know i can't complete it because i'm broke. Can't really buy any supplies. Can't complete it, no presents. Can't even buy the presents because only a few people have them. This is horrible.

The quest can handle by new players. That is why we made it as teamwork. A lot of players finished it. It's seems to be hard for you, because you forget to think about the hints. Work in a team and you will finish it lucky!

Beginners doing immenses Sam? Think again sir. Beginners doing alchemy, think again sir.

I GET THE HINTS. i KNOW WHAT TO DO, I JUST CAN'T GET THE ITEMS DUE TO LACK OF FUNDING. ....-_-;

Honestly, if I cant do this quest, a team of 50 level 12's couldnt do this quest. Think about the phsyics of the game, the economy, and everything else first before fully releasing one of these. This quest completely is not for anyone who is anything below level 40 base.

Sure! Almost 20 finished it. One of them is level 7 and a barbarian.

We are at alchemy state, if we fail the alchemy, I am going to cry. 8 hours today getting the stuff.

There is no perfect way I guess. If everyone gets all items then people are complaining that it is not rare anymore and not worth something, also they are not proud of what they have then. If it requires some work for getting the items then some people complain about that too x-x
From what I have seen most groups had an average level of 30-40. The monsters in the xmas castle change their level dynamically based on the level of the players, so that also less strong players have chance.
We have made 21 scripts, several new locations, made up an interesting story and also a funny end boss. It's not perfect, but we can learn from that and improve things once we do such a quest again.
The recipe for doing the yellow stone is normally set at 100%, there are several reasons why a receipe can fail so I am not sure why it was failing several times for some people. We will probably improve that in the future so that quest-recipes always work, to make it less frustating. But besides that the quest also contains stuff like finding the good location, doing the good thing in the right situation, using different tools.

Once you get passed the "WTF STUPID QUEST PART I NEED RETRED ITEMZZ" it gets interesting. I wont be able to finish tonight cause of shawn being a party man.
