Oh for Christ's sake

Literally.

What rule is that breaking? Can the mod please take a Christmas vacation? Why can't Jesus have a frigging Birthday thread?

For Christmas, I would like a forum that can have a God-endored Birthday thread that remains open. Who cares if someone says something negative. That does NOT mean that the thread shouldn't exist in some form.

This is so petty. Even Stefan and Unixmad don't mind saying Merry Christmas, so why is a Jesus' birthday thread closed? This is just an example of unfair and nit-pick moderating. Just cool off and let the Son of God have His own birthday thread, please?

Maybe I should get the x-mas package by buying an account with the name 'Jesus' tonight.

If you're asking why Jesus can't, why can't all the gods have a birthday wish? Christianity may be a majority of the populations religion, but there are others. If you're requesting a birthday for ALL gods of ALL religions, go for it.

Because it probably isn't the day that their birthday is. Please take your political correctness bull**** elsewhere.

I will make a thread for my God, and you can make your thread for yours if you want. Since I don't believe in your gods' existence, I will not make a thread for them.

If you care so much, go ahead.

Once again.. Jesus is considered to be the son of God, not God himself.

Have you heard of the "Holy Trinity"?

As I am Catholic, I believe that Jesus was his own entity, but one with the spirit of God. The trinity is made up of God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

Yeah. It's sort of like the color white. There is sort of a color white, but it is made of three componenets.

ZanderX 12-25-2005 12:37 AM

:[ Maybe if Christmas really was Jesus' birthday and not Yule then it would be more appropriate.

But you can't say he's THE God, can you?

Dark Rival should have contacted Kaimittee Legal Services. There was a lot of good grounds for objection on that closing. The second thread and this thread are hopeless though.

Although I'm not going to take a stance on this situation, I do love the clever title of this thread. hahaha.

You get my stamp of approval. I agree 100%.

Jesus is considered many things smarty. He wasn't considered actually god, but he was considered a god in human form.

Read the starting posts of both threads that were deleted.
Both were antagonistic, to start something.
Then, if you wish to actually wish Jesus Happy Birthday, go here:
