Will eventually do it so that it only displays once in 10 minutes or so

Inverness 12-17-2005 02:20 AM

Should be once in every 10 logins >:O
or something

Eagle 12-17-2005 03:56 AM

Yes I agree, this thing is very annoying..

ZeLpH_MyStiK 12-17-2005 06:55 AM

First three times after you buy an account? And when something new happens, which is rare.

Skyld 12-17-2005 11:22 AM

Huh. It is not that annoying.

I propose a "Show help at login" checkbox on the help window, and then it only appears on updates like ZeLpH_MyStiK said, once unchecked.

Ibonic 12-17-2005 02:07 PM

Hmm, I like it personally.

But I agree with what Skyld said.

Show help on login check box. I play other online games and they mostly have the same option.

I'm confused if this is a Roxio-type move to annoy players until they upgrade. If it is, I hate you. I've already boycotted Roxio (CD Creator, Napster), and also Real Player for this.

I wouldn't mind if accounts were (get rid of trial) free but you had integrated advertisements until you upgraded (and no, please don't do this for Classic P2P). You could probably draw in a lot more users with the free thing and they'd discover that they like it enough to upgrade. Most of my friends that I suggest the game to are drawn away by the fact that you have to pay to save.

Yea, I've got VIP too, it wants me to upgrade to gold.

Admins 12-18-2005 04:31 AM

Ok modified it to only show one time each 24 hours. It is also containing links to what you can do with your account (e.g. vip web hosting), and we plan to display news in that window.

Inverness 12-18-2005 04:55 AM

Thanks, thats an improvement ;)

Why would any business owner want then to use the product, if they won't pay for it? <_<
