Man, that'd be Heaven on Server... Lag hell too. Talk about this. Awesome. Yeah.

Um.... well, basically it'd have lots of buildings, maybe a sniper added to the rest of the standard Era2D arsenal, and the HUD would be in % of HP, Armor %, and probably a recoil/reload system, etc. Way more cool. Not to mention sniping from a tower would be cool.

Actually, not so bad of an idea. But weren't you the one with the bad graphics card complaining about a 2D client lagging?

If you can't take direct lights, good luck with 3D. :rolleyes:

I'm on a LAPTOP to play GRAAL now!!! Much better than my home PC!!! That's how I will play it. Though times will be rare when I get to go on.

The official Graal 3d project was scraped I dont know how they would do it without using a premade client I dont think any of the staff know c++.

Myself and Jennifer produced graphics and ideas. You can also use GS2 to script it.

Um... well, obviously, they'd hire someone to do it.

As for the shooting system, it'd be hard to choose between semi-bullettime (Era2D) and normal. (Real Life)

If it was semi-bullettime, it would increase the lag in crossfires, and sniping wouldn't be effective unless the person was AFK in a field. And we all know that's something retarded to do.

Of course Graal3D hasn't been cancelled, but perfecting v4 seems more important now.
Lets just hope this won't take too long since Graal3D definatly needs much work and is certainly going to own.

They arent working on making Graal 3D to a full (complete) game yet ive heard.
They are going to work on the engine (and the scripting?) to make it easier for developers like myself to do something creative ^-^

You couldent use the Graal Client to make a 3D Era.

The Graal 3D thing that was being worked on has not had any updates in who knows how long. (Correct me if im wrong please)

You would need to make a NEW client for a 3D Era whitch would require a programing language like C++.

Clearly, you have no idea as to how Graal3D works.

Graal 3 and 4 both support 3D mode, which will connect to any Graal3D server and display it's contents, run it's scripts and allow gameplay. Graal3D functionality, for the most part, is powered by the new scripting engine. Get this idea that you'd need C++ to make Era 3D possible out of your head.

Graal3D is still being worked on to make it more user-friendly in terms of development.

Of course they aren't already PLANNING to make Era 3D, but someone MIGHT, and that would be cool. Aimbots could be evaded, just like on CS Source, I never caught any aimbotters anymore.

I do...sometimes i find servers full of them and have a wonderful time.
Well i dont really have a wonderful time, i just decide to not play source anymore...which is what i did.

Am I the only person who remembers that Graal is a 2D game or is that some crazy illusion I've been living and Graal is actually 3D? :\

GTA 3 and Vice City can be multiplayer (Google Multi Theft Auto, or something like that.) And how exactly would this be a GTA rip? (If you honestly think it would be a rip, then you could say stuff like "MEGA MAN IS A RIP OFF OF MARIO LOLolOlOl")

Another thing, Graal itself is a ripoff of Zelda3 >:P

lets see, um guns, car missions, jobs and crap, only difference would be gta has more realistic graphics. Megaman and mario? Those 2 games have no relation:P.

Era3D has already been made and is currently in beta. Haven't you ever heard of Face of Mankind?

If its still being worked on you would need to make your own or wait but if you want it anytime soon you would make your own.

lol i still think its a good idea but personally i think they should just make it a whole new server casue alot of the people who player graal dont have the graphic card capabilities it might need unless you have low res
