Graal v4.02 revision 5 released
 

If you have already installed Graal v4, then just connect to the server list (login server).
If you have not installed Graal v4, then use following urls for the setup:

Updates:
- fixed transparency of icons for text list gui controls (e.g. the channel list)
- added language-selection box in the options
- fixed actionprojectile2 event (for bullet fx on Era)
- fixed updating of character gfx after downloading them, so that they don't appear white (Graal 3D)
- fixed display of the F1 help (Linux version)
- added remembering the window size (Linux)
- added F2 log window (Linux)
- fixed crash on tiles drawing when the main tiles image is very small (Linux)

This is the first release of v4 for Mac, please test this, especially on errors when starting and resizing the game. The major updates from v3.15 to v4.02 are the integrated updater, image transparency like in the Windows version, global player list, global chat system, particle engine.

I already have a problem, it downloaded then said "Could not delete Graal4.exe, and when I tried reconnecting, I can still play but it has a screen saying "Starting Download"
Windows xp just so you dont get confused with the mac relese.

It sounds like you have read-only set. Go to your graal folder, right click on Graal4.exe and click Properties. Uncheck Read-only. Also right click somewhere in the Graal folder (not on any icons),click properties, and do the same thing.

Just curious, where is Graal installed on your computer? A bunch of people seem to be having this problem and have never messed with file permissions.

Short explaination: Old Windows XP installations had My Documents as read only (??), but Windows didn't care about folder rights. With SP2 it cares about folder rights, so you need to fix it yourself.

Should probably not install into My Documents, by default Graal v4 installs into the normal programs folder.

What ever happend to "Ability to change the main screen" suggestion?

The language is changing, try to login to Graal Kingdoms. The text on the buttons etc. is not changing yet.

1. Login with G2 to GK with your wanted language (english at me). Then everything like the items etc. is english.

2. Leave G2, login to G4, change your language (english at me). Then connect to GK and everything should be english now.

At least it worked at me, I would wonder if it doesn't at you.

I cannot install it. I'm running Mac OSX 10.4.2 on my iBook.

First I ran the setup from the disk image like the readme said... After Choosing "Expert" and clicking "Continue" I got an error (image attached).

I then copied the folder in the diskimage to my Applications folder on my HD and renamed it Graal; I opened the Setup file from the Disk image again, chose expert, and clicked continue. I got the same error.

Any idea what the problem is?

Hmmm strange
well just do what it says in the readme.txt, copy setup.data/release to your applications folder and rename it to Graal, might need to code that directly into Graal for the next release. The setup is only there for copying the files into the /Applications/Graal folder and putting a link to that on the Desktop.

Ahh, I was doing it wrong, and moving the wrong folder over. Sorry. :P It has opened now.
