question: speed?
 

okay ive realised building a house is a good way of freeing up space for extra speed....but how do i increase speed without rings arm etc?

do i increase strengh?

in otherwords, what skills do i train up to help me with speed?

agility is an obvious one...

Increasing strength will help if you're carrying a lot of items and you're below your max speed. Increasing dexterity will help increase your max speed.

Oh and I was talking about the skill, not the stats just to make that clear. Lance is also right about strength and dexterity stats, those are the ones to look for in rings.

Yeah. You have to use the spell agility in order to buff if you don't have the items to do so. =]

Best way to use it is by de-buffing yourself, aka asking somebody to poison you (PK mode) or get poisoned by a Worm or Glok Lord, then use buffs, restoration yourself, and then viola. Super buffs!

Especially good if you're going to go PK somebody. STR / Con / Armour buff, then rip the **** out of them, and then leave. :]

An alternate way to debuff is to buy con- / str- / dex- rings, that generally don't cost more then 85plat (unless they have like con- pow+ or something very generally found). Equip those, along with a Cursed Helm/Armor Piece (though make sure you have a scroll of remove curse onhand) and buff yourself that way. After you take off the de-buff's, you'll see your de-buffed stat far above how much it would of been, had your of normally buffed.

Reason being? You can only buff (naturally) 1-2 higher then your base stat; in most cases, [hopefully], 20.
