Client bogs down system
First my system specs:
P4 3.0 GHZ Processor NVidia 6600 GT Video Card 1GB RAM DSL Windows XP I only encounter this problem with Graal, and for the nature of the game it should NOT be doing this. Whenever (on Kingdoms only) I'm outside in an open area or in the mine, the game runs extremely slow and starts to bog down my system. I mean, I can still play it and such, but it skips a lot and it's just.. you can really tell it's running slowly. Occasionally I'll get a low frame rate pop up but that's rare. Now I can play games like HL2 at high settings and keep a decent frame rate and such. Why is Graal doing this? And how can I fix it? No spyware, viruses, etc on my system either, I regularly use AdAware and MS Antispyware |
Outdated video drivers could be a cause.
Would help if you specified the version number too. |
I have the latest drivers for the video card and my sound card
I am running version 2.3.1 of the Graal client. |
Is it just on Kingdoms that this happens?
|
Quit using 2. And see if bumping down your Res helps.
|
Um, I run the setup.exe and that's the latest version available..

My only question is if theres a way to get the chat box to be permanently on the screen (IE: Don't have to press tab every time to chat)
|
Servers can script their own that stay there. Otherwise, you can't.
