Question to Developers
 

Just a question to the other developers out there..

Do any of you, other than scripters, actually enjoy doing your jobs?
Do any level makers enjoy making levels?
Do any graphics people enjoy making graphics?

Personally, I love making NPCs.. And I know almost every other scripter feels the same, but from what I see of LATs, GATs, and the such, they don't like doing what they do. They only do their jobs to keep their staff positions.
I can think of some people I've worked with who enjoy their jobs, but the majority of them didn't.

It gets frustrating when you're the only person on a server who's interested in doing their job.

Sometimes I enjoy making graphics, but I mostly do it as means of making small income.

I sometimes like making levels because people always either want me to or compliment them. That keeps me going. If I truly love a playerworld I make levels @ pleasure. (not that kind of pleasure yen...)

I enjoy making levels for PW's.

I have fun making animations...graphics tend to be frustrating for me since I pixel x-x

i lat and gat. I dont really like making levels and im lazy to make graphics.

Scripting is indeed fun, but it gets extremely frustrating and irritating to the point of anger when you're doing something you really REALLY don't like. Sounds dumb, but just try to script a "arm wrestling" event when you know that it'll never be used. >>;

But yeah, I usually have fun with it.

As long as I'm making it for me, I enjoy it. I hate making other people's things.

I like making levels. I'll even do it when im bored just to keep myself occupied.

I highly enjoy making levels for the sake of being pretty, and doing light effects, stuff like that.

I hate things like OKAY DETAIL THIS MASSIVE POINTLESS OVERWORLD GOGOGO ^__^

I love NPCs, GFX, and levels, the only things that annoy me are ganis x_x, I guess that's why I decided to make a server. But people do things because they enjoy it, thats why they play/create.

Or because they have to.

I'm not very good at graphics, but I enjoy trying to make them (practicing) and getting better and learning more.

Levels, I absolutely love to make levels if it is for MYSELF. I don't like having to have a deadline or spend time making levels for someone else. I don't mind making levels at all regardless of how much time it takes if I know I am the only one that they are being made for.

I enjoy all parts of development when i do it for myself, but when it comes to doing it for online I despise making things for idiots that I despise for one reason or another and the project would have to really interest me for me to do it.
It would have to be something I've never done before that I know would be used.

The out come is what keeps me going, for example when I'm creating a map I see what I've done so far and I can't stop.
