A Serious Issue
This has been approached many times (at least me). It is in fact about graal. Now, as you read that last sentence, did you read aloud in your head the words? When I do, I read "Grayl". Others would read "Grawl".
So here's the big question. How do YOU pronounce it? |
umm Gra-all? like that lol
|
Gray ill. like the Holy Grail
and how is this a serious issue? -2 intelligence points for you |
Grail? Grawl... I say it's Grawl because it's french for Grail. Grr al
|
From the fingers of Stefan himself, it's Gra all.
|
I can't help but remember another thread concerning the question of what the proper pronunciation of "Graal" was. If memory serves, I think it was Stefan who answered this question some time ago saying that it was never really set in stone or anything; just however a person would rather say it.
Personally I go with "grail." |

And so you know, I'm sure 3x more people will read this because of the title. |
According to Stefan, its Grawl, not Grail. That does not stop me from misprouncing it, though.
|
Every way people are pronouncing it is relatively the same... stupid threat
|
Grawl
|
I rationalize my mispronunciation by stating the facts:
Graal classic featured the grails (cups) Stefan is German/French and therefore we naturally pronounce things differently. Grail sounds better, but Graal is spelled more interestingly. Say it one way, spell it another. All the oldbies know how to say it already anyway. |

Like Grail is the correct way.
But I just say it like "Grall" |
