It's a "We have bigger fish to fry."
 

Right, so I get on and some Samurai PM me saying "CP has been chasing us around" or something of that nature. I ask them to explain and they say "Zach Steele stole our boat and we got it back and then he told CP we stole his boat and their navy showed up and chased us back to Samurai." So I PM Alan about it and he says it was an "RP Activity", then he says "Don't try anything..." and then I say something along the lines of "We didn't forget about how you helped create Bel'la Olplyn" but I also said I didn't plan to do anything but he shouldn't say that something is an RP activity and then say "Don't try anything..." So he said that the "Don't try anything..." was an IC comment. So then I figure "Okay" until I find out that there's still a boat fight going on between some Samurai and CP. So I get on the boat and we go back to main and I dig up some cannonballs I had there and I give most of them to Mange. He sinks at least one abandon boat, and then I get off and get on Pyro's boat. Later Mange said he sank two more but I don't know anything about this since I didn't see. Then I grab a boat apparently owned by Proto because he shows up right after and tries to kill me and keeps trying even though he keeps losing. CP probably took over and destroyed a lot of Samurai ships as well.

All this happened because Zach Steele complained about a boat.

The point is that while Bel'la Olplyn is still around it's pretty stupid for us to be getting into unplanned fights because some guy decides to complain about their boat. Even if it was supposed to be a non-offensive RP event, of viewed that way by the leadership of CP/Samurai, it seems to have created a lot of animosity between some lower ranking CP and Samurai members.

I got on and all my members could say was "It got pretty heated"

And I missed the action. Damnnnnn

This started when Mange and I were on our way back towards the coast of Main Island, right beneath Bomboria. We encounter our boat(Terisu Maru III) to see Zach Steele of CP along the shore right about the time we arrived; he asked us if he could hitch a ride to CP Island to meet up with Ravelyn. We generously let him.

As we approach the dock of CP, Zach encounters Ravelyn. She appears to be afk, so Mange and I sit and wait since Zach insists that "She'll be back". Somewhere between this and Ravelyn's return, Zach decides to turn this into a hostile takeover, guild messaging something along the lines of "Arg, Seems as though I've snagged a boat under two Samurai's noses."

Mange and I stay on the boat, and eventually gain control of the wheel thanks to the boat glitch(where the driver gets thrown out of control between levels), and then Ravelyn decides that now we're the bad guys-- guild messaging "I've been captured and held hostage by Samurai.".

Next thing we know, Mange and I are being shadowed by four hostile Pirate ships.

Pirates pulled crap during my reign too, I considered attacking them and beating them into submission but apperantly some dustari leaders had ooc roots with them. The whole 'kingdoms' part of this game is a pathetic joke. One of the reasons why I just laughed at the game and left.

Forest naval exercise vs. cp will also more than likely be the beginning of new garbage and taking number two on any roleplaying possibilities. Its more like they outnumber you, and want to show it off. Why does cp do this? More than likely because either the people at the top dont care, or because other people put into a trusting position would rather send an entire nation after someone because they dont feel their ego is big enough. Or it could be both.

Why would I bash cp? Because I dont really care anymore. Why should I sit around and be quiet because some bafoons managed to become the most powerful players? It was Dustari before them, and now its Dustari and Cp both sucking equally as much.

This game rocked with NY, anU, and myself. Thats because we did fun stuff, we were against sitting around all day with our thumbs up our rears. Sure we were the absolute best. And onoes we pked people - at least it was fun.

What does anyone have to show for their level 110 pixelated worthless avatar and every freaking item in existance? Wasted time, a god complex, and all out boredom. Not to mention that you are corrupt beyond any politician because you had to get into the circle of corrupt bug glitches and item giveaways to get that way. Was it fun mr.level 110 man? Was it fun mr. I own all the items in the game man? Is it even a game anymore to you? Try not lying to yourselves for a little while to boost your egos and look at what you've become.

Pirates steal boats, im impressed they RP'd it this time, i would of liked to be involved in this boat war :)

Yes, these spontaneous RP scenarios are what make the game interesting and fun. I commend the CP and Samurai members involved, including Googi who ignored my warning, stole a Pirates boat, and was sunk in a sea battle, har har - well done). There were certainly no hard feelings between anyone involved and we look forward to meeting Mange and Frog again on the seas.

I do give you that. GK was wayy better when NYChris and you were running the show, so to speak. Constant PKing in Bomb trade and random RP attacks by Gangstas and The Black Cloak made it fun.

There seems to be a lot of these "spontaneous RP scenarios" with Samurai and Forest and none with Bel'la Olplyn.

Er, you probably sunk the ship I stole, but I wasn't on it at the time. I was never on any ships when they were sunk. Most of the fight I was on Pyro's boat or Proto's boat.

Zach Steele did the EXACT thing on Forest.

Izarius Ryudo and I were putting a ship into the harbour. I went under into the hull to wait for it to pass through. I saw a head pop from a barrel. I questioned this barrel,a nd out popped Mayor Zach Steele, who was angry for being caught trying to get in. I immediately informed Izarius to park the boat farther away from the dock entrance and to make certaint he dock gate was closed. Meanwhile, Zach questions me on whether or not I allowed the 'Forest people' to raid the CP harbour. I said I had no clue.

SO, here along comes his High Architect in a boat labeled 'Trader' naturally, I wouldn't order Izarius to attack a trade ship. It tries to sink the boat I am on, so I hop over. So, after all this, Izarius, Gishelm, Shadow, adn myself hunt down Zach and and Drake on ZOrmite. We sink both their boats. Five minutes later, as we are b ack on Forest, going about our usual business, an Emigrant shows up saying 'the mayor said Forest had declared war on us' naturally we sent him on his way and went back to business. THe fact of the matter is Zach thinks b ecause of the size of CP that any nation who dares stand up to them and get revenge deserves to die. He even had the nerve to bring up his fact of being a Steele, as if that had ANYTHING to do with it.

The next day some Pirate walks up to me yelling LOLRP I OWN U *****, I informed Alan, the nooblets Mayor, and even the Commodore Iscariot and still nothing happened to the little tick. The fact is, CP continues to throw aside RP and treat the other nations like crap. Yes, we have our RP problems too but atleast we punish our people (or atleast the Admiral, myself, and Draxx punish them) for that kind of OOC talk without brackets while on tag. All the pirates do is send troops.

This is Mange on my normal Graal account.
It's not that the whole thing wasn't fun, it was that it got to a point of excessive force. I mean, two guys, one level 11, the other level 3 are on a boat with two pirates. The pirates decide to make a big deal out of the fact that we stole our boat back from them. All of a sudden you see pirate ships coming in from every direction trying to sink us or at least ram into us so they could stop us.
If there had been more Samurai on to help us it would've been more fair, but seriously, it was Meph, Googi, and I vs. CP.
Oh and Googi, we sank a bunch of abandoned boats and one manned one while you were fighting. :)

Oh yeah, the Mayor. Last night the Mayor swam up to our boat at the end and was like "LOOK AT THE SAMURAI RUNNING AWAY" and we were like "From what?" because there were no other boats left.

Its funny how when you were in CP you respected the Mayors so much.... :rolleyes:

Also, Chris is the Mayor of Westford.

Just because I wait to hear the Pirate member's story about the event (any good leader would do the same) before demoting, pillorying or removing them doesn't mean nothing happened to them. It just means I naturally trust their opinion more than yours. :\

Events are really fun if people are actually there to fight back. I don't see much wrong with this whole thing.

I remember Fenix. He tried to PK me a lot, and WL would step in and own him.

We should raid daily without apparent cause or remorse, as pirates would. Then everyone would stop crying and get used to it.

WL did that for awhile, until he finally ended up liking Fenix. :}

I was a mayor then but i am strict and do punish pirates when they not use RP.
I know nothing of the above told though.
I must not have been present at that time.
I'm no longer mayor5 of westford anymore though i am now a commodore like iscariot.
