Resolved: NPCs - NPCs randomly vanish
I have noticed on Maloria Dev that some NPCs will vanish randomly, and reappear when you move your player. I am not sure if they are still executing scripts or not, but all the display related stuff dissapears. No idea what is causing it.
Edit: this only seems to happen to level npcs, guis and stuff dont dissapear |
Same problem on Graal Kingdoms. This is actually supposed to be just below Dustari Castle:

It's a problem with the gmap. Unless half the NPC is on your screen, it disappears.
A few servers had this problem. I don't remember, but I think Stefan fixed it for them? |
Actually, I'm still running Graal V2.something, and that happens to me too. I don't think it's a G4 client error.

Hmmm should happen in normal levels too. After a few minutes of no activity it is unloading the level / map parts for saving resources. It should eventually check for players idling in the level.

i've noticed that, too....but with v2 and only in the t-rex dungeons >_< |
Fixed it, not uploaded yet though

Has it been uploaded yet? It just happened to me using the latest version.

It was included in a NPCserver fix, you need to restart your NPCserver.

Also, the stairwell inside Dustari Castle to the right of the throne room has a bit of a flawed link, as I was able to pass right through it without being warped to the upper level. This allowed me to wander around in the black parts of Dustari Castle before an event had gone on. I buffed myself to 5.3 speed before doing it.

For some reason this is happening again :\.
EDIT: I hate not being able to post more than once every 8 hours :frown:. In reply to Cheetos: They disappear after I idle for a few minutes. When I start moving again, the NPCs reappear. |
