Curious error message
1 Attachment(s)
While scripting a 3d eye-candy script on babylon, I kept repetedly getting access violations and such from a script of mine. Though I still haven't found the reason for these, I have fixed most of them. Down to one i think, though on occasion I get a ton more and then v4 crashes completely. Anyways, in my meanderings through said error minefield, I stumbled across a rather amusing one and thought I'd share it with you :p

Post the section of script you think is causing the problem (if you want).
I like 31337.exe I spy on your desktop btw ^^ |

As for the error, check console.log or the F2 window. |
i like the theme :(
where to get it? xD |
its windowblinds :p
if you're into modding your desktop, litestep is much better, and free. windowblinds is the cheapie version that's much easier to use. i'm happy with my current 'theme' so i'm sticking with it. and hehe @ 31337.exe anyways, the script part... its weird. it crashes and burns at a for loop. for(i=0;i<array_size;i++) i have debugging using player.chat=<text>; sleep(.05); so it shows up right away, and it crashes without displaying the one right after the for loop. anyways, its probably elsewhere in the script that's causing a delayed death message. i'll poke at it with a very large stick and see if i can fix it... if not, you'll be hearing more of it. guarenteed or double your money back. Messy desktops are not your friend :-(
|
Hey hey, my desktop is clean! =(
I know where everything is (and even have certain things grouped so I can quickly access them, such as jMusic, jG (grawl), jMeh docus, jRC Download, etc. since not much starts with J, its the perfect thing to prefix things with so you can type two or three letters and get the item you want. jg jme jmu jrc ji etc. now, back on track. I found out why my script was crashing - v4 does not like you using temp as a variable name. weird part is that it gets an access violation instead of just complaining. bad part about access violations: you can run your own code if you do it right. Graal virus? scary thought. |
limewire? tsk tsk calani.
