LAT School?
Hi. I've been doing LAT work on and off for 4 or 5 years, and was wondering if any of you more experienced LATs would be interested in setting up something of a "LAT School" to help out people who are willing to learn.
Basically I was thinking something like a real school, experienced LATs could be teachers, who would give pointers and discussions on latting, maybe assign tests and critique a new LAT's work, etc. Maybe even form apprenticeships between an experienced LAT and a new LAT based on his/her progress. It would be really nice to see this happen, and I bet there are a lot of people out there that could use this (myself included) and would like to learn how to LAT better. So, anyone think this is a good idea? Of course it would take some time and patience, but hey, what else do you really have to do? :P |
YEAH GREAT IDEA! While we are at it, lets make a Sparring School too and be ignorant to the fact that the only way to get good is to practice.
Being a LAT is like pool, you suck at it at first and with practice (making levels) and watching matches (look at other LATs levels) you will be good at it. As for critique on your levels you just posted in the board where you post images of your levels and get peoples feedback. What would REALLY be nice to see happen is some good freaking official documentation on Gscript. Note: I changed your analogy... I'm pretty sure someone would eventually get angry at your example. :P No harm done though -Jordan |
I think these boards suffice.

As they have said you really don't need anyone to teach you. You can just show people your levels and that's teaching them. So, the boards are a perfect "school".
Stupid analogy about sparring and levels. You can't LAG through levels!!!!!! |
Ya the boards are a percocet

I help people who contact me.
The forums could be used, however, with the one post a day bollocks it'd get tricky. |
Haha
