having a celphone cause ppl dont look at thr player list wen they get a pm its stupid they dont know if they got a pm , u can get ur own ringtone but u need to pay for it, it would cost like 5000$ DAM MY SISTER

i was thinking like whenever u get a pm the PM icon thing-a-ma-bob appears over your head. except it wouldn't work for mass messges cuz those r annoying.

An indicator in the corner, or in an empty space on the gui would work fine for New Message notices.

Here's an idea, hit F7.

It is pretty difficult not to notice if you have a PM unless you have tunnel vision or an unusually large monitor.

And think of staff on servers. The beeping would drive them crazy.

They're talking specifically about Zone... I don't think the speech bubbles show up in the lower left corner there...

There's some empty space on the main gui part I think... Put a little flashy thing there. Sounds are kind of pointless. But chances are someone's going to whine about it if it's not added, so I dont see why an option for sound would kill anybody... It just might make Stefan groan because he has to script a stupid 'ringtone' option.
