saveToClipboard();
Is there a function like this in GS2, that can save an object or a string to the user's clipboard? I know it's possible, I've seen scripts do it and I've scripted it in AppleScript. I'm just wondering if it's been implimented yet, and if not, someone (probably me z-z) suggest it to Stefan?

I can imagine such a scripting command causing disruption.
I'm not sure about other people here, but I know that I don't like scripts or programs doing things without my consent, especially changing things like the clipboard contents, and even more so when the clipboard is already being used for some other purpose. |
Well Windows XP already supports a multipage clipboard, or so I've heard, so yeah.
Stefan could make it have a prompt dialog...? I just want that command implimented. o-o Would be useful with a serverside loadLines, for example. |
it wouldn't work right on everyone's computer, and would replace what was on the clipboard for many people

easy.
easy easy easy. GuiEditor allows you to make a gui in a visual editor similar to VB's form thingie. you hit compile. now, instead of going and looking for a file on your harddrive or the server's ftp in some obscure location, it puts the code on the clipboard. walah. now all you have to do is paste it. simple as that. |
