Server crash
 

When the server crashed about an hour ago. There were some lost items in the chaos. I lost a hook of Bile +4 and XRuffRydaX lost a hook of bile +3 and a RoW. Im sure others lost things too but if these could be restored that would be excellent.

Yeah. A ton of stuff got lost. Draven's GE, 13k plat, (I forget whose) etc.

That's odd. My 400 something waters duplicated in the server crash. At least it was just water.

I also lost a few hundred plat, I wasn't aware that others had lost stuff. I don't care about the plat, but I could understand the need of a restoration the the above (besides Axen that is). :\

maybe just restore accounts on a case by case basis? i made a whole housekit today and traded a few things and it would literally take me several hours to redo things >.>

As fr0 said, my RoW and hook of bile+3 disappeared one me.. x-x It's hard enough to get RoW's these days.. and i dont wanna have to start over

Now if only Stefan would read his PMs and restore my item. :frown:

It's hard to believe a crash can do this.

And it's hard to believe how a debugged update could break GK so badlly, but it did. :\

It didn't break GK, it just 'didn't accept the updates.

But it did. Reverted items on players and reverted the NPC server's local DB/global DB NPC's to earlier states, but the states that either got reverted to were different. Completely random. :/

I think that happened on Era once. Not sure. I'd have to ask Rick or Skyld.
