I think it would be really good if when a FAQ got a PM from a player, a pop up (like the admin messages, only they could hit a button that says reply or cancel) would come up, telling them they have a PM, this could go for any staff as well. This way they could respond quicker. Of course, they could still ignore it, but its a little harder. I say this because some servers don't have maps for the yellow bubble to be displayed, some people don't look there, or it can be hidden behind masses, or some people put the map down, and it would be harder for the staff to ignore, and many players don't know to PM RCs...etc.... The staff member wouldn't get the pop up if they set something to ignore so he or she can work. it would allow for players to get help a bit quicker, but might be a bit annoying to staff...what do you guys think?

Bad idea. I would prefer not getting bombarded with things similar to admin messages every time I get a pm.

you could put it an ignore setting, so the pop up wouldn't come up. it would be optional for each person

Or, yaknow, they could just watch the playerlist.

Maybe for windows, you could have those little message bubbles that pop up on the bottom right of your screen saying you have a pm?

I don't like this idea either.

If you want to use PMs, you get notified of them both on the map and the playerlist, and if you are on RC, the tray icon. We don't need more notifications, especially ones that jump out at us.

Instead FAQ can press F7 and ignore mass messages so all of their PMs are yellow.
