Question about legal issues.
 

Well, recently I have been thinking of taking a GraalOnline server onto actually the "real world" of MMOs.
Currently, it has it's own tileset, ect. I was wondering if that would be legal, and also having it listed on Graal online servers.

What makes Graal servers great is how it differs from others.

If your question is "Is it legal to make a custom tileset and have an MMO based system", then it's fine. There's no rules stating how a server has to be (leaving out racist and sexist acts... and everything in between).

I am talking about actually introducing it to the public, without having people to download graal ect with the help of graal (level making, gani shop, rc)

Well, almost clone the server, and have it up for download. So its a client with the server in it.

The answer is no, you can't host your own server, and you can't charge...if you're getting at that.

No no, no charging, and I PMed Stefan, instead of cloning the server, but linking the server to the client. Free of fees.

I'm confused...are you trying to make a client to where people can play Graal for free, or just advertise it?

He wants to make his own game using graal's server building tools, then distribute it for free.

Not graal for free. I am just seeing permision If I could use their server building tools, without any copyright issues, to make the own game.

The only way you would get the code and programs etc for Graal would be to pay for them.

Maybe if we could haggle with Stefan and offer him that only 10$ $ per year for Zodiac server ^^
