Autograph Books

I'm still undecided over whether this is the best or worst idea ever. Basically, it goes like this:

Each player can collect an autograph book. Using it when facing somebody gives them your autograph, and then it appears in their book. You can read the book by simply saying "read book" or something like that and it displays all of your autographs. Basically, this means that somebody can find their hero and get a mark from them that shows that they have noticed them. Being noticed, after all, is a big thing for some people. I dunno if it's just me, but I think people'd get a kick out of collecting the names of all the oldbies in this way.

Now, the only problem with this is that oldbies could be swamped with requests... But if we ditch PMs, then it may well be much better. You'd have to meet the person ingame to get their signatures, which would be fun. And it'd be very easy to script.

So. Opinions, please.

...read it all.

Just their names would likely be enough.

Well, I define oldbie as anybody who is quite famous. Say, Fai or Tybalt or someone. A regular here on the boards, for example.

Just because they post on the forum a lot means that they're an 'oblie' ?? err.. ok..

By my definition. It's a flawed definition, but that's life. I'll correct myself from "oldbie" to "famous person," then. Okiedokie?
