A sig! a sig! or garbage?!
 

hello everyone, its been a while :(
well i made this "sig" today being bored and all and i would like to know what you all think.

vivi has to be my favourite mage in all the ff's so i used him and being a lvl 60 blm taru on ffxi, somewhat dressed for the occasion i used him. well let me know what you think.


took me about 2 hours to draw vivi out and shade him but the rest only took 5 mins max overall i think it looks alright.

The mage itself is neat. The pants are like a blob, but whatever, they probably are all crazy like that in the game. The background is like an acid trip, not that that is too much of a bad thing. I like the box of poptarts, nice touch. Nice job.

yeah i made vivi from scratch took a while i just searched vivi on google to get a look at all the fine details like on the gloves but other then that its pure pixel powah :o

I meant the background was crazy and sort of clashed with the picture, but then again, it didn't all too much.

Did you crop the 'Vivi' image? or draw it.

i drew it. first i started with the outline of course found the colours for everything and then shaded it all by hand. you can tell its hand drawn because the shade on the coat is a little weird and im not happy with it. it also looks like he pooped his pants but thats just what vivi looks like, harder to show it with pixels lol.

Looks almost the same, just smaller with a book.

i reffered to an image just as that one however the shading on that one is horrible its like plastic. shrinking images and cropping them just isnt my style. refference yes but just editing/ recolouring an image is frowned apon kinda like pillow shading :P

that drawing if you really drew it looks sweet but the background is a total eww.

If you use a reference, state it. Or atleast don't say you made it from scratch just by studying a variety of images. You didn't study, you just copied.

I like the hat the most. The pants are retarded, and the background is too much for such a simple character.

I'm not very convinced you did this all. If you are so good at graphics, how did you let the thumb show like that? Surely you would have noticed the thumb goes BEHIND the box.
