New Subscription Idea
Alright, currently this sucks. I have to wait like 8 hours to make a post...And that..sucks. What about another subscription plan? We can call it..hmm...
1 Year Forum Access (Only for accounts that have been subscribed ATLEAST once) Description: You get to be able to use forums as much as you want during the time period. You could also check how much time left my something in the User CP etc.. Or maybe through graalonline.com where it shows your statistics. Reasonable Price: 10.00$ O.o, did Zero Hour just agree with me? And to Gerami: I rather pay 10$ to post on forums for a yr, then 25$ to post on forums for a yr, and play some undeveloped servers.. |
I would get one.
|
Pay just to post on this forum...o_o? Whatever floats your boat.
|
Yeah, thats is a good idea if you just want to post.
P.S. The least to go on forums and the servers is $20.00 |
Can we also sell a first account upgrade option that has no gold? Classic servers only, for like, 15 dollars?

How about we put it this way:
I am not reupgrading my acct to play graal, but if they come out with this, I will upgrade so I can post. Their are more people who think this also. I am sure of it. Stefan/Unixmad: What do you guys think about this? :o |
Kuji its actually a good idea for stefan/unixmad. I'd be like "YES PLZ"

You all just should quit graal until they lower prices.

And for the age group and content, they are. |

I think it's not the fact that the prices are high for kids, near 13-14 years of age, it's just that their parents consider an online game a 'waste of money'. That's the case in some situations atleast. |

That's what I meant by saying age group. They don't have any means of paying the fee themselves, and parents are reluctant to send 28 dollars to some random German man who created a 2d game. (<3 you Steffy) |
Hmm, well stefan/unixmad :o. you want 10.00$? Make a subscription package for this ;o.
|
I'm sure they'd get plenty of people to subscribe to the forum.

To me, the Graal isn't worth paying for. I've only upgraded my account once, I don't find it worth putting any more money into. I only play Graal because I like scripting. But even scripting is getting boring now, because I prefer scripting on RPG-like servers. The only options are Valikorlia (the manager bans anyone who has more skill than him) and Maloria (constant harassment from the staff, plus there were only two working staff members) A bunch of people tried to get Maloria new management, but Lord HoudiniMan popped up and declared that our 73 mb of material showing corruption and abuse mean't nothing without giving us an explanation as to why it mean't nothing. And everyone bowed down to Lord HoudiniMan, of course, since that's the logical thing to do when the Administrator of the General Universe speaks. If I had a place like Maloria to script, I'd definately upgrade again. <3 And I'm waaaaay off topic. So.. In my opinion, prices are too high considering Graal loses it's appeal and becomes repetitive after so long. |
itd be good for people to who wanted to communicate on the forum rather than paying extra for a vip or more gold.

Re-write that using proper graamar and make sense. Graal is losing out on potential another 300 dollars from me a year by not offering this option. I gave them 300 this past year, they should collect 600 from me. |

And while they're add it why not make subscriptions for gold servers and private servers? |
There is a subscription for gold and private servers retard its called "Gold" yeah buddy cost like 50-60 bucks a year or something....
Yeah I think this would be a neat idea seeing as how alot of forums nowadays are charging... I think yeah something awful charges... |

Damn, can't post for another 8 hrs so...: To the post below me: Its 44.00$ with VIP :o |

It's a great idea and I have informed Unixmad so hopefully he'll reply here soon.
|
It's possible to search the forums before making new threads for the same topic. It might sound good to have more options, but it would only affect a very small user group and offering a low-price option will make many people take the low-price option instead of the only slightly more expensive VIP-option. Also Graal is a game, and this forum is meant for speaking about the game. I don't think it will make sense to have people just with forum access who are not involved in Graal a lot.

There's no servers of any remote decent quality. All the classic servers are pathetic at the moment. Kingdoms is fine and dandy, but only for a certain taste. Zone, is, repetative but fun for a bit... The only thing that keeps me here is development and the community. |

Oh, and VIP being slightly more expensive? It's 150% more expensive than the option we're talking about here. If VIP was its old $19, then maybe that would have some credence. For Canadians such as myself, as of today, this $10 USD plan would cost us $12.16, while VIP (at $25 USD) costs us $30.41. That's a huge difference. Quote:

Forcing people to pay for a game they don't want to play, just so they may visit the forums and talk to friends or whatnot, is turning away a lot of the "aging" players -- players who are getting tired in the monotony of Graal, but still enjoy spending their time here; people like me, and many who have voted and voiced their opinions in this thread. |

price of graal+price of forums=useless waste of money and even if it was seperate, you need to play to understand what people are talking about usually, it's only a few bucks more for VIP, why not get it? (and it gives the people of graal more of your money, remember, this is a business, they need to make money) plus, eventually, you would want to play it a bit, you can't resist the pulling power of Graal! ESCAPE IS FUTILE! ;) |
I'd buy lifetime forum access. I hate time restraints.
|
Graal’s prices are fair, if you consider that other games that aren’t structurally as good cost less and games with far superior graphics and scripting techniques cost more.
Another thing to consider is that Stefan and Unixmad rely on Graal Online to make money, so they need players to pay a reasonable amount to fund the game, their wages and to give them incentives to work harder and produce better results. I would purchase a “forum account” if I could, having restrictions isn’t fun. These forums are good for getting ideas and opinions across as well as getting help. As someone may have mentioned already, Graal used to have a “classic only” account, which was rather cheap. Though I’m not sure whether you got forum access with that. Anyhow, that’s my two cents… Though somebody probably will post all of these ideas before I get a chance to – I’m 7 hours and 52 minutes off of making this post. |

it's like going out for dinner twice (or once if you go to a moderately nice place). I only play Graal casually, and I plan on upgrading my account with another year of gold. |
