First Level in a year +.

1 Attachment(s)
Here's my first level in a little over a year. I don't know what's in style, out of style, i just felt like making the level how i wanted it to be. Let me know what you guys think.
Suggestions and criticism welcome. Also, if you want, you can rate it.

I got the mental picture in my head one day and made it into a level. It's supposed to be simple, nothing too fancy.

Detail is plain, minor tile errors, transition grasses aren't very curvy or such (dont like the style you're using :(!!), your roads are wacky, cliff is too...boxy?, I like the playbility of the level. Not a fun of those little blockable dirt rocks.

4/10

Then again its been over a year so I can't really blame you. Nice try, keep it up

forgot the dirts were blockable, didn't keep them in my final version, don't know why i posted that screen shot.

where do you see tile errors?

Look at the very bottom, diagnol to the bottomleft of the house. The two-tiled grass blade is poking at that uh "diagnol connecter" of the grass.

oh, i see it.
wasn't thinking too hard when i was detailing. it was like 5 am and i just wanted to get the level somewhat detailed.

Keep revising it, its what i do when I post levels o.o

The layout itself is actually nice.

that's all i was really going for.
I didn't care if i got "plain detail" "not enough detail" blah, etc comments, because i was going for mostly outline. i just didn't want to post it with nothing but the outline and the green grass, though i might've liked it better that way. :x

That one looks ok. :D

If only the detail was more compact..

Keep in mind that back when I did do levels a lot of detail was frowned upon because it made the level look cluttered and the "half grass" tiles were BS.

Haha I see. "Half grass" tiles do suck a lot. Post more, I know you're elite :D

Very nice man, I love the second one. It has a certain feel to it <3

The first one is okay.. just I see a tileerror and its out of style.

out of style, maybe, i don't know, read the thread title? I'm not trying to be mean, but you REALLY don't have to point out the obvious.
