confirm to delete on rc?

maybe there should be something that confirms that you want to delete or not on the RC, so if you accidently push delete you don't screw yourself.

In the FTP?

Blitz_Hunter 07-16-2005 11:58 PM

Ya, good idea.

Fogles 07-17-2005 02:50 AM

Good idea.

If this gets added, we should also add something to detect if lots of files are about to be deleted (See attachment).

Your image looks ripped from my avatar, :(
I doubt anyone else would've taken the time to get a picture of his face removed from that roller coaster thing.

It is ripped from your avatar :spam:

Ok, now that there is statement from the image creator, it's a good idea to have a confirm delete. Spark's idea could be implemented, but what other case is there of mass file delete?

MysticalMatrix 07-25-2005 07:37 AM

Owned :P

That is by far some of the funniest stuff I have seen. I would seriously put it in the FTP, Server Options, and all that other stuff you can possibly remove from a server.

KuJi 07-26-2005 02:16 PM

Yea, I was going to mention about the ton of file deletion. I think their shouldn't be a confirm, but instead, a recycle bin. No one will have write rights to it. Thats perfect. Problems Solved.

kenyonandelliot 07-26-2005 08:03 PM

doesn't matter to me anymore..

excaliber7388 07-30-2005 03:10 AM

actually its a good idea, some people think they can get away with that stuff :\ thats why i am reluctant to give out such abilities :D

Unpredlctable 07-30-2005 04:52 AM

Unless this isn't already implemented, possibly something to log when something is deleted/altered, and by whom. So those folks will think twice before believing they can "get away with it."

Yes... its in a log that says "accountname deleted file from levels/level.nw" But this is just to confirm if the guy accidently pushes delete.
