Don't fall for this, here's the history:

Salazar (Cypher) (7/7/2005 2:44:39 PM):
Well..i dont need anything important...I need the email in wich u ordered it
from
(not the email password) and i need the order ID for the account (scam
proof)
Then i can get the money from my parents to upgrade u for 12 more months.
C-******* (7/7/2005 2:44:03 PM):
How will you upgrade it then?
Salazar (Cypher) (7/7/2005 2:42:02 PM):
No reason..i randomly chose u since i have 50 extra bucks.
C-******* (7/7/2005 2:40:36 PM):
Sort of, im confused, why?
Salazar (Cypher) (7/7/2005 2:38:42 PM):
Need your account upgraded? i wont need ur passs.

With that information, he can email Spark and change your password and steal your account. Don't fall for it.

His account name is: Funeedude15218

I'd suggest a global IP ban.

Rofl, I'd laugh if someone falls for this.

This should probably be made a sticky, as there are a lot of users who would.. to this day, indeed fall for this >_< . Some users don't grasp the reality that the e-mail registered to the account is more valuable then the password itself.

A ip ban can easily be evaded, ofcourse not by everyone. This person, specifically, has had numerous accounts that were previously banned. Although it cannot permanently restrict someone from using the graal client, it's better then doing nothing.. being so I would have to agree ^^ .

He is correct,, this does happen a lot, and honest people DO fall for it and loose their rightfuly paid for account.
I second the fact that this person deserves a global ban, people like that should not be existant to the graal world.

I third that motion.

NefariousPK 07-21-2005 07:20 PM

hi c-tities ^^

some guy today claimed i haxed his account :frown: but i said nah and ignord him :)

xAndrewx 07-21-2005 08:29 PM

Interesting. And the same person on that account was doing the same on Graal Kingdoms. I think he/she was punished for it.

Salazar is also a known scammer on GK, does it quite often apparantly.

KMashaneyK 07-27-2005 01:16 AM

I had another account, but I can't remember the email. Like seven people have access to it. >.< Johnny Welsh said he hacked it. But, I really can't do that much with just that information. It sucks but, I got another account; which is this one. :frown:

The account that was Pming Curtis used to be a friend of mine. Looks like he fell for it, huh?

Anyway, if you ban that account, there are likely to be about 10 more.

Velox Cruentus 08-02-2005 09:36 PM

They said IP ban, not ban.... There's a difference.

Don't you think an account ban would be more secure?
