Asterics

I need a program that lets me the see the asterics, as I can't remember the password of this one account my friend let me use, and now I need to remember it.

I tried the one Urban posted in Myukio's thread, but all I got was a ton of Japanese characters..

HoudiniMan 06-22-2005 02:08 AM

I had a program called 123 Password Recovery for a while that worked on XP.

But Norton called it a hack tool and deleted it when i did a full system scan... So use at your own risk. I would unplug my internet connection just in case.

VulcanP2P 06-22-2005 02:14 AM

None of these programs work with SP2.

Sky 06-22-2005 02:26 AM

Forum PM me your e-mail or AIM me at "dude your beat" and I'll send you one. :)

edit: Doesn't work on graal for some reason... :(

Don't worry, it isn't a virus either. ^^

Hope it works for you.

Edit:
Actually, I can't get it to work now, weird. Search on google. :p

Trying to get Tylar his "Lord Blade" account back.

Lyndzey 06-22-2005 05:05 AM

I can try and get the account back for your friend if he has the paypal receipt or registered email. Tell him to go to http://support.graalonline.com and submit a ticket.

Forum pm me your email and I can send it to you.

maximus_asinus 06-22-2005 04:23 PM

Graal uses a more complex coding for passwords, I doubt you'll be able to find a program that can break it.

Dude, he just wants to reveal the asterisks in the password box, not decrypt it from the registry.

Sure it is, otherwise you'd ask Spark, Lyndzey or Ibonic for a password change or so, or whoever handles these things nowadays. :/

Yes, that is the one i use when i lose my password and don't wanna memorize a new one. Though it cant break the actual client password, it can break the RCs, if you have one with your current password in it.

It's not my account. It's Magnus Chill's account. I'm trying to give it back to him. He doesn't need the password changed as it was already changed on him, along with e-mail and what-not.

And uh, thanks?

You have to have the password already in the client to see past the asterics, dumby!

lol. Good game, dumby. Way to go imply that he would steal his own password, or his friend's password.

I'm talking about stealing other people's p2p accounts, hence the use of "accounts" in my post. It's plural.

Hiro 06-26-2005 10:00 PM

How would a password revealer for my client show me other accounts?

Stev579 06-28-2005 02:20 AM

Does everything have to be made painfully obvious for you kids?

You would use the password revealer after obtaining the asterisks from other people's accounts, either by sending them a malicious .exe or by binding such a thing to a .jpeg *or whatever.*

Yea, it is actually spelt "Asterisk."

EDIT: Your webcomic is terrible. I suggest that you delete it before more people mock you.

You sound like you've tried it.

However, I don't need accounts from players. That's retarded.

Finding errors in my speeling must make you're confidence go up. Poor kid..

As for my webcomic, many other people like it. I'm sure at least a couple people won't. You're the first one.

Also, why the hell are you being such a ***got?

Yeah, it really gets me off. No, seriously - It's funny to see people who try to use standard English, but suck terribly at it.

First of many, probably. They're not funny. They have stupid topics. They are poorly drawn - why do you even bother? In my opinion, those people were just saying they liked them to avoid hurting your feelings. I'm pretty sure someone who 'Likes to RP as a cute Asian girl. <3' is pretty sensitive.

See? I knew you were sensitive. *** irl are we?

Hiro 06-28-2005 09:43 PM

Everything in my webcomic is there for a purpose. It is badly drawn to make fun of another webcomic which is very complex. The topics (If there are any) usually poke fun at inside jokes between friends - my webcomic really isn't for the public even though I have a link to them.

As for the last spelling errors, obviously you don't get sarcasm.

As for being sensitive - which I'm really not - my only concern with this thread is that you have made it gone from somewhat helpful, to boring. When I asked why you were being a *** to me, it is because the minute I say "Accounts" "Passwords" and "Reveal" you assume that I'm going to go out and steal some passwords using a virus program or a data miner that steals the password logs in the graal2001 folder. In reality, I'm trying to get Tylar his account back. I have his account saved on my graal client, and I don't have it written anywhere else. So I need something to reveal me the password so I can give it back. He has the e-mail, and can change the password after he gets it back.
