gmap
Friend ask me to post this on graal forums for him...
The problem: Whenever I enter a gmap level (any server, made by anyone), all I get is green. No npcs, no tiles, no people, no links, no nothing. Picture: http://images2.imagehigh.com/imagehi...10710_gmap.png It's always been like this, and everyone I've asked has had no solution. Any ways to fix this will be apprciated. Thanks |
I think there has been a text saving problem with graal lately... Maybe this would help:
Go to the main Graal Folder, and delete his map folder, but tell him this would delete any GMAPs he had mapped out from any servers, but it might work. |
It is also wise to delete FILENAMESCACHE.txt when deleting any files.
|
If it goes all green, it means the player doesn't have the gmap in his folder.
Next time it is all green tell him to 'unstick me'. Hopefully it should work. |
I am the one who is having all the trouble with the gmaps. I tried the solutions but none worked. Which folder would the file have to be in? (For some reason things don't download automatically for me)

Sucks huh? :frown: |
No... I don't have the problem, Suo does. And I don't like the new Era any how. Old one was better... Plus, a lot of Era can get really laggy at some points, I prefer swords over guns as well... personally I find sitting there shooting a person all day boring. A sword fight has interest and bring more excitment to the match.

New Era wasn't on a real gmap. That's why it lagged.
|
Well I still find things more interesting on servers like Delt and N-Pulse... I like the swords there better. Wouldn't mind UN if it wasn't full of lag, and way to many newbs always pming you. I don't mind new players but it can get pretty annoying sometimes...

Note: Problem was solved, I just sent him my map folder, I actually did it for a few people with the same problema nd it seemed to fix it so :)
