Those ranks are bassakwards.
A major is above a sergeant and the same can be said about a general and marshall.

i asked you that. =p

Since it's graal I doubt they're trying to be technical, though I agree it should follow the same guideline.
As far as I know this is the rank list in real life; though correct me if I'm wrong.

Private ---> First Class
Junior Sergeant ---> Sergeant ---> Senior ---> Master Sergeant
Warrent Officer
Junion Luitenant ---> Luitenant ---> Senior ---> Captain
Major
Luitenant Colonel
Colonel
Major General
Lieutenant General
Colonel General
Marshal
Chief Marshal
Admirals

It should be, like, you start out as "Player", and then "Events Team", and then "FAQ". Eventually you reach the highest rank of "Unix's friend".

You messed those way up.

I could list every military rank by heart, but it'd be too long of a post. So go here: http://www.clancyfaq.com/milranks.htm

The only thing wrong/missing from that site is the Supreme Allied Commander ranking (5 stars and only during a war) and the two Lieutenant ranks used for the Navy are wrong. It's Ensign -> Lieutenant Junior Grade -> Lieutenant Senior Grade.
