bye...

I suppose i should have posted this a while ago, I havent played graal since i decided to give up on EK. Since there are few who will care that I am going, i will keep this short.

This isn't because of staff, I have never had problems with them.

This isn't because of players, though lack of them working at EK certainly didnt help.

I just am not having fun when i play graal anymore. I went through a bunch of servers, and didnt seem to have much fun. None are anything great. None. SO I bid you all goodbye, and i would appreciate (though I dont expect it to happen) if there wouldnt be 50,0000 "alright, he's finally leaving!"s. Bye

EDIT: One more thing. SO I can see how many people actualyl think i'm an idiot on the forums, I ask that all that do sign this. This is purely for my own amusement.

Gambet 05-29-2005 07:40 AM

Cya. G'luck and have fun with what you choose to do next!

falco10291029 05-29-2005 07:41 AM

Velox Cruentus 05-29-2005 07:54 AM

Umm... Ciao. I don't really know you, but the reasons your quitting are quite valid.

Enjoy yourself, will ye?

Darlene159 05-29-2005 02:49 PM

Bye, good luck to you

No, not really. What interpretations are there? You forwarded some text and claimed that I might say something similar. This is very much a case of putting words in my mouth.

History suggests otherwise.

zim5354 05-30-2005 06:56 AM

kai dude he is leaving why must you be such a arse all the time?

Methril 05-30-2005 07:35 AM

It is maybe not that he is an arse, it may be that he has to respond to anything, regardless of validity or and necessity. I have yet to figure it out completely.

And yes your reasons for leaving are completly true, Graal is just not fun because of every server being lame. Hopefully you find something usefull to entertain yourself with.

falco10291029 05-30-2005 07:49 AM

Damn my instinctive need to reply to what kai says....

Right there. If I say you might say "hi" is that also putting words into your mouth?

Perhaps any history you'd admit to, but even assuming you are right, history in no way decides present and future.

Yes.

You claim there is no correlation whatsoever?

Velox Cruentus 05-30-2005 04:12 PM

"Those who control's the past, controls the present. Those who controls the present, controls the future"... History controls the present and future.

Kai -- Don't go into it.... It'll just get this thread shut down. It's not quite the right time to talk about unproven theories and possibilities.

As for the 'putting words in mouth', it's not quite... It's merely suggesting that you have a possibility of such outcome, as your words. It is simular to putting word's in gods mouth of how the universe was created. (No, I don't believe in god.) This would refer more to actually doing it: "Kaimetsu said 'Yes'". That would be considered putting words in your mouth if you hadn't said 'Yes.'

Malinko 05-30-2005 04:17 PM

Kind of late, but good luck in the future!

Bye.

No, i claim that it cannot make a definite outcome, though it is possible that it COULD affect this, though I personally dont see it happening.

Anybody that could type the second of those sentences has no right to talk about semantics.

It refers to any attempt to prescribe words to another person, which is what you did.

See while earlier you got words put in your mouth you're just making things up now. You've proved time in and time out that you're pathetic and most of your posts are just trying to prove how superior you are to others. You know nothing about me offline, therefore you can't really say I try to prove I'm stupid. Good comeback though sweetums.

plz call me stupd plz or sey i am wste 0f lyf or sumthin plz

No, you're wrong, it means that you are saying someone wil lsay something. Voicing what one thinks someone will say is different.

event A and event B do not make event C what will definitely happen, or, the definite outcome.

No, he actually started the argument. Whoever responds to a statement in the way he did is the one who starts it.

Indeed? And what was the purpose of your initial post in this thread? The overall message seemed to be "IM COOLAR THEN U SO B LIEK ME".

How do I try to prove my superiority? Through arguing? You do that too. Through insulting people? You do it far more than I do - again, just look at your initial post.

Quote:

Sure I do. You've talked about yourself before, and everything you've said has painted the picture of a generic nobody, too concerned about what other people think of him to develop his own sense of self.

That's a pretty idiotic argument. You can say whatever you want about a person and then - if they respond - accuse them of starting a fight because they could've ignored it?

I expect that you will say something stupid in response to this! But that's not an offensive statement, right? After all, you can ignore it.

You seem to be stuck in kind of a loop here.

Yeah, so? Did you notice that I used the word 'suggests'?

Also, do you really think I was seriously saying that you are always wrong?

Ignoring is one way to not start the fight. The other is "Actually, I wasn't planning on that". Simple. No real argumentive responses to that.

Quote:

You were saying you were right each time (except for this), so you arent being any better.

Quote:

Yes, but you said it in a way to make it look like history was all that you needed to say I was wrong here.
Quote:

No, but it wouldnt surprise me if you did.

Brad 05-31-2005 04:57 AM

wait wait wait wait

I care about what others think of me? What the hell are you reading? I do what I want and have never once tried to fit in. Ever. You honestly have no idea who I am. I never said I don't insult people. I insult people I don't like, but I stick up for people too. You just seem to pick random kids to insult. If I knew how to bold things I'd bold KIDS. You are arguing against CHILDREN.

Haha. I don't think that's entirely accurate, but the point isn't particularly relevant, is it? You yourself earlier claimed that your online and offline personas are not identical - and now you're telling me that you mustn't seek approval offline since you don't do it online?

Quote:

I never said I don't insult people
You didn't answer my point. You insult and argue just as I do. Does this mean that you too are constantly seeking to prove yourself superior? It works both ways, dawg.

Quote:

You are arguing against CHILDREN.
Sometimes. Most of the people I argue with are within a few years of my age, so I don't really see your point. Even if your claim were accurate, what would it mean? Is there something inherently wrong with talking to people younger than you?

I don't really have much choice if you've already started it. Again: You feel that voicing expectations can never equate to starting an argument?

Quote:

You were saying you were right each time
The problem is not that you claimed to be correct. The problem is this: That's all you did. Pure assertion, no real argument.

No, it was just a flippant comment. You're reading far too much into it.
