Stuff not coming to 2K1

I figured that I would make a post of all the stuff I tried to make for 2K1 but never worked (all of it), for no other reason than because it will never see the light of day and I put a lot of hours into some of this stuff and it seems wasteful to not at least put up some pictures of it.

#1: Lemon Farming and Lemonade Making

This one is really, really old. I made it shortly after making the coloured pearl script. Which I recently found out didn't work online either. Lemon Farming never even worked offline. Lemonade Making worked offline but not online. I tried to find the old levels but couldn't. I probably deleted them.

#2: Necklace Making

This was supposed to be a job that would be more fun than D-Jobs. It was kind of like DDR. It never worked online either. It worked offline at one point but stopped working offline after I tried to get it to work online. Here's a picture of me not using it.

#3: My best awful script ever. Bomy Battling.

Even though Koni couldn't do it, I was for some reason under the impression that I could. People who frequent the Future Improvements forum may remember me posting about this one. An early version exceeded the maximum character length limit for scripts. It actually works partially online, though not completely as it uses some online-only commands. Of course, it doesn't work at all online. Here's a picture of me pretending to use it offline.

You could select three "moves" to make per turn, as could your opponent. You had stamina/HP and all that cool stuff. I was going to make it so you could buy attacks to equip your bomy too. It would have been awesome if I didn't suck so much at scripting. But fear not! You can live the experience you could have had by playing this Inuyasha Flash game that I shamelessly stole the concept from.

Hahaha, everyone started playing the Flash game and didn't reply.

I actually enjoyed that Inu Yasha game alot. I don't mind the stealing of concepts; that would've been interesting.

I own with Miroku.

I suck at that game, man.

Play as Kagura to make it easy.

Ha, I remember playing that Inuyasha game like last year. It *is* addictive.

It would work great for bomy pet fighting. I could definitely script that with no problems. I still have the old bomy pet GUI thing that listed the stats and items and whatnot that your bomy pet had. I'll have to dig up the screenshots if I can.

I was going to make something like bomy battleing for an Event on Providence, when I worked there, though I don't think we were allowed to use bomy's, so it was just a test.

Could be damn fun.

I played as the guy with the staff, and his attacks suck. The bow lady kept shooting me in the face.

Out of curiosity: Did you pre-emptively decide to change the number of grid squares, or did you just make the arena too big and then decide to pass it off as innovation?

You wouldn't believe how often I do the latter.

I decided to do it beforehand because I didn't want it to be a complete copy.

Haha. Such noble intentions!

To wrap up this forum in one line:

Everything isn't coming to 2K1. Nothing will come.

Yeah, but this stuff is special. It wouldn't have come even if other stuff did.
